It was pitiful to see Mystic sulking on my couch, crying her precious eyes out while rubbing her pregnant belly. 4 more days, and she got heartbroken.

I sat next to her and comforted her. I ran my fingers through her straight hair, and she hugged me right back.

"Janis! Thank you so much for letting me stay for a while. You're a good friend."

I sigh. I'm not really a good friend, because I actually knew what really happened between Layla and Vic. It never happened at all.

"Thank you, but you won't think I am a good friend when I tell you this."

"What is it?" Mystic asks me, sniffling her nose.

"Vic and Layla... Aren't a secret item." There. I spit it out.

Mystic gives me an angry stare. "WHAT?" She fiercely asked me.

"Kelsey told me everything. She told me that it was a secret plan to get you guys to split up. I can't say anymore."

Mystic nods her head. She was getting rage builded up in her body, and it wasn't healthy.

"Janis Sumpter. You had better tell me all the details right now, or I swear to God Almighty I will take this lamp and knock you out with it."

I quivered. She was serious. She had the lamp tightly in her clutch.

"Answer me, NOW!" She screams.

"Okay! Layla's been jealous, so has Kelsey. They made up the whole 'cheating' thing just so you and Vic could break up and Pierce the Veil would end because of the feud. Vic is innocent. He was right when he was telling you the affair never happened."

Mystic sets the lamp down. She gets up, and screams her lungs out.

"Are you okay, Mystic?"

"Oh, I'm gonna be okay when Layla and Kelsey get busted, Janis!! How could they do this!? It's not fair!! It's just not.."

She suddenly hushes up. There was a long pause.

"Uh... Mystic..." I stutter.

"It's happening..." She gasps. "My water broke. Janis, she's coming! She's coming!"

I started to get shaken again.

"I'll take you to the hospital! Come on!"

I take Mystic by her hands and gently lift her. I get her out to her car, and put her in the passenger seat. I quickly get in the driver seat and I drive off to get to the hospital.
