There is so much light that we see
From advertisements and shop signs
To computer screens and traffic lights
Sometimes I feel blinded
There's so much hurting my eyes
So much to see before I die
But it isn't all that there is
There's so much light in between
We walk through them all the time
Yet no light in the world
Invisible or visible
Can make a blind man see
So what is the purpose of so much light
Whether or not we can see them
If they do nothing but hide?
****
Also based on All the Light We Cannot See, although I decided I wanted to write this after we talked about light in Physics. Don't worry, I didn't drift off into Dreamland in class again and wrote this. I typed this on my phone while starving my ass off in a highly overpriced Japanese restaurant. That was how memorable my hungry experience was.
