Chapter 1: Where there's evil there's a way

Axel is strolling down the high street of Hell Earth where he finds an out of place manhole cover so he goes to investigate it. As Axel approaches the manhole he sees a weird bright light coming from it, so he sits on his knees and when Axel puts his hand into the light his hand starts to burn and blister so Axel quickly removes it from the strange light and then his healing powers quickly heal up the burns and leaves his hand as good as new. "Why did that hurt so much it was like putting my hand in lava" Axel says to himself. Then Axel stares at his hand and realises what it is. "It's sunlight" Axel whispered. Axel looks down the manhole at an angle so he won't get stung by the sunlight. Axel studies what the bottom of the manhole contains and he realises that it was a portal at the very bottom of the manhole but not a normal portal it was an unstable portal meaning that any monstrous creature could have wandered in and out of this place into Earth. Axel stands up and moves the manhole cover with his foot so it covers the sewage entrance completely then he levitates a bit off the ground and then moves a bit away from the manhole. Axel with worry all over his face starts to think what he should do because if he did nothing he would be leaving the world that he loves into a cruel and dark end no demon or any other monster thought like Axel all they would want to do to earth is destroy it and claim control of it. But Axel wasn't going to let that happen with using his super speed he dashes back to the caste that he calls home to prepare a plan on how he was going to save Earth. The night comes quicker than he thinks so Axel decides to sneak out of his bedroom window. Axel opens the window as wide as it goes then with his ax base held by a strap that goes from his shoulder to his hip Axel starts to fly out of the window soaring across the houses that surrounds the castle and towards his location as Axel gets closer to the manhole he starts to feel nervous he didn't know what to expect he could encounter anything tonight. As Axel descends and lifts up the manhole cover he sees the beautiful stars shining in the Earth sky so he floats into the sewage entrance and puts the manhole cover back over the manhole slowly heading towards the portal. Axel starts to get excited that he is going to Earth one of his favourite places to go when he was upset or annoyed. Axel starts to enter the portal and as he get to the other side the cool air welcomes him back to Earth with his hair blowing in the wind and the stars above him he is ready to take on the night. But his nice welcoming comes to a quick and short ending when he hears a loud scream coming from his right. So as quick as his super speed can take him Axel gets to where the screams came from. As Axel gets there he sees a huge black figure standing on two legs wearing dark blue ripped jeans with his hands spread out high in the air ready to take someone out. Axel gasps and uses his super speed to run in front on the dark figure and then Axel kicks the dark figure away from two humans sending the dark figure flying into the forest. Then Axel turns around to see if the two humans are ok but as soon as Axel turns around the two humans are gone all that Axel can see are two little specs in the distance. Then the dark figure stands up and charges towards Axel. But Axel is too agile and using his flying ability to float out the way and the dark figure misses Axel and charges into a tree leaving himself unconscious and now Axel sees the dark figure clearly and he realises that it is a Werewolf that runs one of the market stall selling fruit and veg. Axel ties him up and drags him back to the unstable portal. As soon as they get back to the unstable portal the Werewolf starts to wake up so Axel starts to question him. "How long has this portal been left open?" questions Axel. "I don't know?" replied the Werewolf. "What do you mean?" asked Axel. "This portal has been left open for weeks. I have been walking in and out of this portal to steal fruit and veg for my stall" explains the Werewolf. "That means there could be tons of creature ready to kill innocent people out there." Axel thinks to himself. Then Axel draws the symbol of Hell Earth and then he gets out his lighter and using his pyrokinesis ability Axel transfers the flame from the lighter onto the symbol that has just been drew then Axel speaks of the place where he wants to go. "To the castle dungeons" commands Axel. As soon as he speaks the words the portal opens and Axel throws the Werewolf into the portal. Then as Axel walks through the portal the portal closes behind him. "So if you don't want people walking through the portal why didn't you shut it?" asks the Werewolf. "The portal is unstable I need the creator of the portal to walk through the portal to close the portal" explains Axel. "So why don't you leave this to the police force?" asks the Werewolf. In Hell Earth there is one police station where only two policeman work and the last time they had a case they got thrown into the lava river for stealing. Everyone in Hell Earth is bad even the apparent good ones. "I'm not going to be stupid and leave it in the hands of some idiots" reveals Axel. Axel leaves the Werewolf in the dungeon and flies back to his room, lays on his bed and thinks about what to do about the unstable portal until he falls asleep.
