Chapter 9: The beginning of the end

Axel, Zuzu and Luca are all around Moon's grave stone just staring at the writing. "Luca" called a family member. Luca walks over to where the voice came from. "Zuzu I have a plan" reveals Axel. "What is" asks Zuzu. "We go back to the library and....." Axel gets interrupted by Zuzu. "And what we don't tell Luca because if we do it will destroy him that we are investigating his aunt's murder" says Zuzu. Zuzu then walks towards where Luca was called. Axel is left on his own and he looks down at the grave then he realises that he isn't going to let his friends aunt's memory just die so he decides to take the library by himself. Later on that day Axel goes to the waste lands and draws out a portal to the library then he lights it with his trusty lighter. As the portal opens Axel stairs into the library and he starts to have flashbacks of the night before. But Axel decides to ignore his thoughts and enter the portal. He goes through the portal and he looks around for the haunting figure but he's nowhere to be seen. So Axel decides to walk around to try and find something just something so he would stop feeling like he had done this to Moon. As he walks around he starts to hear the crackle of a fire in the distance so he goes and investigates the odd noise. As Axel gets close to a fire exit the smell of smoke and ashes fill his nostrils. So Axel decides to surprise whoever the fire started is. Axel slowly starts to push in the bar on the fire exit the door makes a clicking noise when it is fully open. Axel quickly kicks the door wide open and jumps out of the library and onto the cold alleyway. As he looks down he sees a small shivering red demon covered in a long rode much too big for a demon about the same size as the dust bin where the fire was lit. The innocent creature slowly turns around and his eyes widen in shock so he jumps to the left of the burning bin and grows from a tiny 3ft to a mighty 6ft tall figure the rode around the figures neck now fit perfectly fine. As Axel stared at the haunting figure a shiver struck his spine and now all of the thoughts he had been ignoring had now started to swirl around Axel's mind. "If he can put a stack into Moons chest who's to say he can't do the same to me, I'm on my own defenceless and scared" Axel thought to himself. The haunting figure pulled back his arm and launched a violent attack towards Axel. Back at the castle. "Axel! Axel!" calls Zuzu. "Where is he?" asks Luca. "Oh no" mutters Zuzu. "What is it Zuzu?" asks Luca. "Luca please don't kill me but at the funeral Axel said something about going back to the library" reveals Zuzu. "He's gone there alone anything can happen to him" says Luca. The two of them fly out of the window and head towards the waste lands. As they get there they see the early burn marks from the portal that Axel had lit not too long ago. Back at the library. The haunting figure had knocked Axel back into the library by now and he had Axel in a headlock and there wasn't any sign of hesitation from the haunting figure. Then from out of nowhere Zuzu and Luca came flying towards the figure with clenched fist and revenge on their thoughts. As there fists connected with the devil he lets go of Axel and he starts to step back. But in a quick turn of events the haunting figure quickly grabs Zuzu by the neck and he starts to lift her off the ground but Zuzu lashes out and kicks him in the face making his hood fall backwards revealing Mr Greenhult from the portrait in the forgotten rent office. Zuzu gasps and she is let go of the demons grip. Mr Greenhult takes off his robe and reveals a crisp suit and tie. "You really thought you'd seen the last of me" chuckles the fake Mr Greenhult. "You was burnt to death" says a very confused Axel. "No I burnt that other guy to death then I made myself look like him" says the fake Mr Greenhult. "What?" questions Zuzu. "I can look like anyone" say the fake Mr Greenhult. Then he transforms his face into everyone else's. In shock they all start to step backwards. "Oh don't seem too shocked it's just a little bit of shapeshifting" laughs the fake Mr Greenhult. "So why did you kill him" questions Axel. "So I could have some money in the bank you sort of need money when you take over the world" chuckles the fake Mr Greenhult. "Now all I needed to do is take a form that would fear others all over Hell Earth now all I have to do is get the energy to form the demon I am. Let's just say I almost at full energy levels" chuckles Roy Michaels. Then Roy bursts into smoke and disappears. Then all of the others quickly make a portal back to the castle and they start to plan to stop the evil demon that is Roy Michaels. When they are at the castle Axel tells Zuzu and Luca everything about what happened and how Roy was when he found him. "When he was the small creature he was probably saving his energy by turning himself into a smaller version of himself in every way" says Luca. "Yeah so we need to somehow make him transform into a bigger form" says Zuzu. "Yeah but bigger form more destruction" says Luca. "You should go home and get some sleep I'm hoping us making him turn into his other form and him teleporting has slowed him down hopefully" says Axel. Zuzu and Luca nod in agreement and go home. Then Axel if left wondering what the next day will bring.
