Chapter 8: The Moon

Axel, Zuzu and Luca are all in Axel's room discussing what happened in the library. "He just got one on us Axel we're sorry" apologies Zuzu. "It's not your thought it's the figure he's....just there all the time" replied Axel. Axel's bedroom door slowly opens and reveals a tall slender lady with long black hair and wearing a long black dress. "Aunt Moon!" cheers Luca. Luca runs up to her and gives her a hug. "Wow Luca you've grown so much" says Moon. "Oh yeah Aunt Moon these are my friends Axel and Zuzu" says Luca. Moon chuckles and sits on the bed. "Wow I have been gone for a long time. You don't even remember me" says Moon. "What do you mean?" asks Axel. "Whenever your parents were busy I would look after you. Well it was a long time ago so I can understand...so what's new in Hell Earth" says Moon. "Nothing much" says Luca. The moon chuckles to herself again. "Sorry dear but my psychic powers are much stronger than your mothers I know what's going on. I could smell it from the house" reveals Moon. "What do you already know what's happened" asks Zuzu. "Yes of course I do and I'm here to help that demon is not getting away with what he did to you" says Moon. "We don't know where he is but we do know that he is a big fan of books" says Axel. "The book that was inside of the secret room what was it about you don't seem to remember?" asks Moon. "All I can remember about it is that it was old and dusty I couldn't see much in there the room was dark" sighs Axel. "Well that doesn't matter now all that matters is that we find this man and end his line of terror" says Moon. "Yeah but we don't know where he is?" says Zuzu. "True. But whenever you're on Earth he seems to be there as well" explains Moon. Later on in the evening they are all ready to get the haunting figure. "Axel so why the library" asks Zuzu. "Because when we get there I'm going to use my super speed to plant a book in the room where the other book was" reveals Axel. "And that will probably bring him out" says Moon. They all race off to the waste lands and Axel draws the portal and activates it with his lighter. The portal burst open and reveals the library when this happens Axel quickly plants the book in the room and goes back to the others then they all step through like nothing has happened. "It's this way are you sure there's a second copy of the book Moon?" Axel says suspiciously. "Yes he was a friend of mine actually" replies Moon. They get to the door and Axel inserts the doorknob and slowly turns it. The door clicks and slowly opens they start to enter the room but before they get into the room a voice comes from behind them. "Why are you here?" asks the haunting figure. "What's it any business to you" asks Axel. In the heat of it Moon slips away and get changed. "Well if you don't tell me I will have to force it out of you" says the haunting figure. "I don't think you're going to be forcing anyone" says a tall figure with white hair wearing a leather suit and mask also she is holding a bow staff. "Looks like I'm going to have to take you out" says the haunting figure. The haunting figure and the mystery lady launch themselves at each other and they start to fight in a mid air brawl. During the fight the haunting figure get the upper hand so Axel quickly grabs the book and shows the haunting figure. "Look I have another copy of the book if you want it come and get it" shouts Axel. All three of them start to run from the monster then he start to follow. They start to torment the figure by throwing the book to each other. "Stop that!" shouts the haunting figure. "No this is too much fun" says Luca. The haunting figure quickly changes his target towards Zuzu and he grabs her and lifts her up. "Let me go!" commands Zuzu. "Not until your friends give me the book" says the haunting figure. Axel froze he knew if he gave him the fake book he would kill Zuzu but if he didn't give him the book he would still kill her as well. In a flash the mysterious lady comes out of nowhere with a mid air kick. This makes the haunting figure drop Zuzu and fall to the ground. Luca quickly catches Zuzu and they watch the two mystery figures fight in mid air. The haunting figure quickly pushes the mystery lady to the floor. "I didn't want to do this to you Moon" says the haunting figure. "Roy?" says the mystery lady. The haunting figure pulls out a stake and plunges it into the mystery ladies chest. "NO!" shouts all of them. They all run over to her and the haunting figure leaves. "Oh no no no no" panics Axel. "Luca just remember your Auntie Moon will always love you" says the mysterious lady. "What?" Luca says confused. A cold tear rolls down her face and hits the floor. As it hits the floor she turns into ashes and leaves her mask, suit and a white wig. "Oh no. She left something else" says Zuzu. Zuzu picks up a necklace with a sapphire shaped as a heart from the ashes. "That Moon's where is she?" asks Axel. They all look down at the ashes and they start to cry. "Aunt moon. No not my Aunt" sobs Luca. Axel pulls Luca and Zuzu close to him in support. They collect her ashes and they all go home. Back at the castle everyone has gone home and Axel is looking at his board of evidence. He starts to write a note it says the death of Aunt Moon. Then he sticks it onto the column which reads what the haunting figure has taken. Axel looks back at the board and he says to himself "Now it's personal you've taken someone that cared for me and I cared for her next time we meet you will be the ashes on the floor" mutters Axel.
