Two weeks passed since I was at EJ's house. Also there was only three days left of fifth grade. I was getting giddy because I wanted school to be out, but I was also sad because I wasn't sure if I would see EJ during the summer. Though he did ignore me for a week, we are talking now. We kind of have to since we were put into table groups of two and he was my second half. That sounds a little dramatic, I could not live without my second half EJ. Hehe.

I will get to the present, though it is boring since we were doing a social studies project, well a whole class one. It was lucky since EJ, Elena, Grace, and I were all partnered to help with one of the writing parts of the project. "Let me see the computer, Grace," EJ was yelling at Grace. "No," was her response as she kept typing. "I know more than you do!" They were always like this when we worked! "Grace, EJ, we can all work together peacefully, can't we?" I asked, in frustration. Grace gave me this look like:look who we have here miss perfect. I just rolled my eyes and watched them bicker over who gets to type what information.

I jumped when I heard a voice behind me say, "Shouldn't you be helping them Miss Tyler." It was my teacher. I gave her an innocent smile and said, "They won't even help each other, though." She gave me a little smile and said, "Try, Katerina, I bet you can help them. If anyone can, it'd be you." I hated when teachers did that kind of stuff, but I nodded reluctantly and went over to the little brats.

Before I could say anything the bell for lunch rang, I was grateful, but also a little disappointed. I grabbed my lunched and walked with Elena and Alicia to lunch. "EJ and Grace are in a very intimate conversation," noted Elena. I laughed and said, "They are probably fighting over who gets to write what on out writing piece. They are soo obsessed with that thing. I never knew Grace could be that crazy!" Both Elena and Alicia raised their eyebrows but said nothing more. Until we got in the lunch room.

I could see EJ and Grace, no wait I could HEAR EJ and Grace's yelling conversation. "Wow," me, Elena, and Alicia said simultaneously. I was very surprised they haven't started swearing at each other by the way they were yelling. I heard running footsteps and turned to see the fourth grade teacher run in, with Anthony right behind him. "What is all the yelling about?!" shouted the teacher. This was the best and also the worst time someone could laugh.

"Um, he beat me at something and I got really mad at him," Grace replied, but you kind of had to be really stupid not to tell that she was lying. "Mmhmm," was all the teacher replied, shaking his head, he walked out of the cafeteria. EJ, walked slowly, then he ran out of the cafeteria. I watched him for a moment, then followed him. I thank god when I found him on the floor outside of the building and not in the boys bathroom. I sat down next to him and asked, "You okay, EJ?" He looked up at me with his green eyes and replied, "Other than being totally humiliated, i am swell, how 'bout you?"

I closed my eyes and nodded. "I'll stay with you, you can have half of my sandwich." He smiled and took my sandwich, looking grateful.

The rest of the day went by, without anymore humilation for EJ. After school my aunt had asked me to go to the library and get a cook book. The fun thing is that it was sunny all day then it happens to rain when I need to walk to the library. No one was around me so I yelled, "Love you too Forks!" I laughed at myself and ran the library.

It took me thirty minutes before I found a dang cook book then it took me another thirty to get home. Guess what, when i got home, the rain stopped! I shook my head and placed the cook book on the kitchen table. I headed upstairs to finish my portion of the writing project and then I played with Ashlee, until Megan came home.

"Katerina, can you come down here please?" asked aunt Megan. Without saying anything I came down the stairs. I saw a man standing in the doorway, he had short cropped brown hair, a crystal clear blue eyes. He was tall and well muscled. "Who this?" I asked. She laughed and said, "This is your uncle Henry, silly." I squealed a little and ran the rest of the way down to hug him. He smiled and hugged me bag. I looked up at him and said, "I've been wanting to meet you." he laughed, a bellowing laugh, and said, "Me too young lady.

That night we had a fish concoction that my aunt had found in the cook book I got her. I hated fish but I still ate it to please her.

I slept soundly that night then the next day went by fast and then it was the last day of school.

EJ, Grace, Elena, and I got an A on our project though Elena and I did like none of the work. We did like nothing the whole day but fun and games.

Fifth grade was a fun experience but Sixth grade was going to be a new world.
