What ever happened to please and thank you
When I was a kid I always said please and thank you.
It was the polite thing to do.
Now I rarely hear them.
What happened to morals?
I teach my boys to hold the door open.
To never hit a woman.
To be a gentleman.
I teach my daughter to be a lady.
You can teach your child one way, but there will always be someone trying to lead them down the wrong path.
Its like the days of being a gentleman are truly over.
I know we can do things for ourselves, but its a sign of respect.
I love hearing someone say thank you.
its not that hard to say yet it escapes us.
2 simple words that can make a persons day.
A lot of older people say this generation has no respect
I don't believe that.
I say we prove them wrong.
Let's show them all about respect.
