Mental Illness is no joking matter
I have seen all these cases lately where people commit murder than blame it on mental illness.
This angers me so much.
It's like their making a joke out of mental health issues.
I have struggled with mental health issues all of my life, and I have never taken anyone's life.
Nor have I ever wanted too.
My daughter is 8 and has many mental health issues yet she has never harmed anyone.
I hate that for the rest of her life she has to be associated with murders.
It makes it out to be something evil.
We are not evil we are just like everyone else.
Some of us need the help of meds.
Some has learned coping skills.
But we are people with feelings.
Remember that the next time you want to think of using illness as a clutch for you being purely evil.
