When I opened my eyes it was a little dark where ever I was and a rush of pain came to me I tried to move but it was to painful, I looked around to see where I was and I realized I was in a hospital but i don't know why because the last thing I remember is running from Yakirah's dorm. But as I look around the room I see Yakirah laying in a chair in the corner she look so beautiful when she is sleeping.. I feel around the bed for the nurse button so she can explain to me why I am here I try not to move so quick because my body hurt so much, I found it and the nurse was in my room with in seconds and she checked my vitals.
" you are a very lucky man" she said as she took checked me.
"What happen to me exactly " I asked genuinely.
"Aw baby you were involved in a hit and run car accident, you will be here for maybe another day or two then you will be allowed to go home but u will need a little help when u are home"
I nodded and I looked over at Yakirah and she was waking up.

When she saw that I was up she gave me a big smile, but I did not do the same in return because as reality set in I realized she still had a new boyfriend and it confused me why she was even here to began with.
As the nurse finished up her job she left the room leaving Yakirah and I there in each other uncomfortable silence. "I'm happy you are up and a live " she said as she got up for her chair to stretch " why are you here" was the very first thing to come out my mouth because I really wanted to know.
She look at me with a indescribable expression.

" what do you mean why am I here, in here because I care about you"

" well you did not care about me when that other niggas hand was on u and u slammed the door in my damn face". I started to raise my voice a little.

Yakirah P.O.V

I really can't believe what he is saying to me right now.

" excuse me" I said getting a little mad

" you heard what I said Yakirah so don't play deaf ".

I just looked at him like he was crazy.
"You know what Isiah Ima let that  medicine get out  of your system and I will be back later before this turns into something worse than what it already is"
I started to grab my things so I can leave him with some time to his self

" yeah leave like you always do Yakirah go head run away from your problem like always it's nothing new. And do us both a favor and don't come back"

Isiah said as I leaving out the door  to be completely honest with you what he said kind of hit me hard.. I wonder is he right do I always run away from my problems.
