The Diary of an Angel: My Story

Part 1 and 2

November 1

Hello book,

My name is Avianna Merrie Horan. I'm 14 years old, and an orphan.

"Well, that's a nice introduction" you are probably saying. Well there's nothing else interesting about me.  My mum died of cancer when I was 5 and just over a year later, my dad committed suicide. So here I am parent less. I thank my lucky stars each day that I'm not in an orphanage. I'm being taken care of by my Uncle Harry and my Aunt Akila. And what's funny is that my Uncle was in the same band as my dad. One Direction.

*And the crowd screams*. Yea, my dad was Niall Horan. Big deal, right? To me, he was another person who left me. 

Everyone leaves me. 

Darcey left me. She was my best friend, and when her parents adopted me at the age of 6, she became my sister. Than she went off to a boarding school, and I'm stuck at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School.  Why? Because my "parents" (I refuse to call them that. I call them Harry and Akila) wanted me close to home to keep an eye on me. LIKE I NEED IT! Okay, okay, I may be a depressing girl whose favorite color is black and loves sad poems, but that does not mean I should be treated like a little girl.

Well back to my depressing story.

When my mum died, my dad fell apart. He tried to be a good father, I'll give him that. He even showed me a notebook full of letters he wrote to my mum when he felt sad. He never sent them. Heaven doesn't have a mailbox. Or visiting hours. Harry gave me the notebook at dad's funeral. If you're wondering how he died, he killed himself on an overdose of pills. 

And left me, stranded, in a giant world with no parents. Oh yes, I have Harry and Akila, but they will be no where near the title "Parents". They already have two children of their own, Darcey and Pierce. 

COOL NAMES RIGHT? Than it's me. Just plain ole Avianna. I don't even have a name meaning! I looked it up, and my name means "Modern blend of Ava and Ana." It is so not fair! 

On top of that, Darcey is the prettiest girl in school. Pierce is the hottest guy in school. Me? I'm the nerdy depressed girl who no one talks to. Daily people bully me. Why do I put up with it?

Because of him.

Luke William Tomlinson. Yes, he's Louis Tomlinson's son. He's gorgeous, and plus he is the only boy who doesn't give me a disgusting look every time I go past. He's perfect!

But he's with.. "HER."

I'm only going to say her name once. I refuse to write it in here ANY OTHER time.

She's a goody-goody-two-shoes who is in love with clothes and she is what you would call "The Popular Girl"

Ew! 

 I'm pretty sure by now you have realized that I go on bunny trails. A lot.

I guess I should continue my story.

So I was dumped at Harry and Akila's house, and that is where I've been living. It's a GIANT house. But I'd give everything to be back in the house Dad and Mum and I lived in. It was small, but big enough to make everyone jealous. It had a feel of home to it too.
