I groaned as my best friend, Paris, held my foot in her hand. "Stay still!" She yelled at me. I puffed air from my cheeks. "Are you done yet?"

"Almost, if you'd stop moving." She glared at me. I looked at her with a bored look. Paris was drawing my tattoo. I don't know why, I thought it was ugly. It was a simple crescent moon with swirls inside. Nothing special.

Paris showed me the drawing when she was done and I was amazed at how identical they looked. "It looks amazing," I smiled at her. "Why thank you," she giggled. "Why did you draw that anyways?" She shrugged, "I may want to get it on me one day."

"Fall in love with me," I winked, giggling. "I don't like girls, unlike some people." She looked at me. I pushed her to the side. "I like girls and boys, get it right." I huffed. "You still like girls." I rolled my eyes and looked at my phone when it rang.

"Its your momma, she's outside." Paris whined, "I don't wanna go!"

"Leave my presence, peasant!"

"You're so rude." She rolled her eyes. I laughed and grabbed one of her bags before walking downstairs.

I gave her a hug before she got in the car and drove off. I walked back inside and once I closed the door, I heard little cries coming from upstairs. I took two stairs at a time, in case something happened to her and speed walked to her room.

Laying in her crib was my baby sister. She screamed loudly, her tiny arms by her face, her little legs kicking. I cooed, and walked to her. Leaning over the side of the crib, I reached down and picked her up. I held her in my arms, slightly bouncing to try and calm her down.

"Ebony, Ebony. Baby, its okay," I whispered in her ear. "Are you hungry?" I thought back to the last time she ate. She's been sleeping for about five hours, so five hours ago.

I puffed air from my cheeks, the little baby screaming in my arms. I walked downstairs and grabbed her bottle from the refrigerator. I shook it before I sat down on the couch and fed her the bottle.

Ebony's small hands wrapped around the cool bottle. Her cries stopped as she drank her baby formula. I smiled, and looked at her tattoo on her ankle. It was a rose. I smiled wider as I saw the same rose on my wrist.

I lightly kissed her forehead, and ran my hand lightly through the little hair she had on her head.

When Ebony finished her bottle, my phone rang. I carefully grabbed my phone from my pocket, careful not to drop Ebony. I answered it without looking at the caller ID because I didn't want my baby sister screaming at the loud noise. "Hello?" I answered. "Y/n! Ebony needs more baby formula. Can you go to the store and buy some?"

I groaned at my mother. "I'll be home in a little bit, I have a few things to do after work." I rolled my eyes, I didn't want to go anywhere. "Yeah, I'll go. I'll see you later." I hung up before she could say goodbye. I walked upstairs, Ebony in my arms. I set her down in her crib, pushing down the side rail so I could dress her easily. I pulled out a random outfit, making sure she'd be warm. I put on her little glove mits and pulled a hat over her head. I put on her coat and zipped it up, leaving her hood down for now.

I placed her in her carrier, and strapped her in before I ran to my room to slip on a pair of boots and my coat. I went back to her, and grabbed her carrier before walking downstairs again. I grabbed my car keys before pulling Ebony's hood over her head, placing a blanket over her and walking outside. The snow attacked me and Ebony and I quickly walked to my car and put Ebony in the passenger seat. I accidentally slammed the door closed and raced to the drivers side. I shook slightly and made sure she was still warm. She seemed fine so I turned on the car, and let it warm up before I pulled out of the driveway and made my way to the store. I parked the car and waitied a few seconds before I turned it off and got out. I ran to Ebony and I ran inside the store. I shook slightly from the cold and placed her in a cart. I shook my head when I heard her soft snores. I pushed the cart around the store, searching for the baby section. When I did, I was so busy looking for Ebony's right formula I didn't notice anyone else was in the aisle, and I bumped into them.
