Xavier's pov

i check my phone as i walk back in the house

the time says 11:59 and i get this nervous and uneasy feeling in my stomach

as soon as i walk in the house the clock changes to 12 and i get hit by the most amazing scent ever

It smells like vanilla and chocolate

'MATE' my wolf yells inside of me

I walk around the house sniffing for my mate

After about 30 minutes, I continue to walk losing hope

all of a sudden this girl jumps in front of me and wraps her arms around me

"who are you?" i ask very confused

"i'm your mate" the crazy girl says

"i'm sorry but i'm afraid you have the wrong guy" i say looking away

she looks puzzled at me before smirking

"what? you don't want me baby" she says acting innocent

"not really. you're not my mate" i says shrugging and leaving her speechless

i sit on the couch when i catch a whiff of the smell again

i look around and then i see her

the most beautiful angel ever

she's gorgeous.

she has curly brown hair a big blue eyes and super dark skin

i feel my knees getting weak just at the sight of her

she's talking to a few girls when her head snaps my way

she gasps and puts a hand over her mouth

i smile as her friends look over at me

i walk up to her and notice tears in her eyes

i look at her puzzled as another man walks over there

"what do you want" he asks grabbing my mate by the waist

"her" i say looking at him furiously

"there's no way. she's my mate. i don't know what you're doing" he says clearly ticked

"man you got it wrong. that's my girl right there" i say looking over at her

"son. i'm sorry to tell you this but she's mine. isn't that right sweetheart" he says looking over at her

she just stares at me and shakes her head no

she pulls out of his grasp and walks over to me

"i'm not yours" she says to the man "in his"

i put my arm around her as the man gets furious

"how are you going to tell me you aren't my mate?" he yells causing everyone to get quiet

my dad walks over there looking puzzled at us
