In the morning it was “Wake up little Suzie, wake up.”
Now it’s a phone call or a text message.
Even from young you spoiled us.
Mami made breakfast, but if we asked we could get McDonalds
When we make you late, you try not to get mad
No matter how much we run back and forth.
No matter how much we argue on the ride
From home to school to church, practically any where
All the late nights helping with projects
All the early mornings finishing those same projects
Helping with homework or sending us to Mami for Spanish
Getting everything we need when we only tell you the night before
The jobs you have are endless
From killing spiders to cooking the dinner
From fixing our endless electronics that you continuously buy us
To the simple crewing in of a light bulb
Daddy,
If we never get to chance to say so
We want to thank you, and that we love you.

Happy Father's Day
