Luke - Concussion (part two)

Sorry it's so late (and short), but here's part two...enjoy!

After two days, the boys had cancelled a radio show interview and rescheduled a number of other things, but Luke was still not well. He couldn't stand without feeling dizzy and toppling over, he was constantly complaining of everything spinning and that he felt like he was going to be sick.

He was laying on the couch and wanted to get up to join the others in the dining area, so he threw off his blanket and swung his legs over the side. As he stood, the world tilted and he fell to his knees with a loud crash. The impact hurt his stomach badly and he blindly grabbed at it; leaning forward, he suddenly vomited onto the floor.

Calum, Ashton and Michael heard this and immediately ran in to find Luke in the state he was in.

"Aw Lukey," Calum cooed and crouched down to comfort his friend.

Luke couldn't even say a full sentence without slurring his words, and this worried his friends.

"Guys I think we should take him to the hospital, it's only getting worse," Michael said. Luke groaned and dizzily fell back into Michael's arms. His vision swam and the next thing he saw was complete darkness.

The boys sped Luke to the hospital where they hooked him up to machines and gave him some medicine. The youngest boy woke up and blearily looked around at everyone.

"What..?" he asked, confused.

The doctors and nurses had all left the room and given the three boys the good news that Luke would be fine within the next week, and that Luke could leave anytime after he wakes up. "You're in the hospital, Lukey, remember you hit your head?" Ashton spoke softly and rubbed Luke's arm.

Luke thought hard for a moment and then remembered the events that had happened. Thank god he didn't have any memory loss. He nodded.

"They said you could leave whenever you were ready, mate. You wanna go home?" Michael said.

Luke nodded and sat up slowly. Calum helped him get off the bed and allowed him to lean on him as Michael put Luke's shoes on him, and Ashton went to inform a nurse that they were leaving. Luke wobbly stood, balancing himself and then realizing he could see straight now, as he stood.

They got back in the car and drove home, settling Luke up on the couch and all crawling in around him. He put on a movie and all ended up falling asleep together, happy that Luke was finally feeling better.
