Normalcy:A Very Half-Blood Fanfiction

CHAPTER FOUR

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

I know its been forever since I've written anything but I've been kinda really busy with schoolwork, not to mention a Severe Writer's block.

I've also thought of an actual plotline for the story , so  it doesn't become monotonous.

Anyways Here goes!!

This is set in the day during which the overnight drama happened.

FRANK'S POV:

"I just don't know about this.I really feel this isn't the right time for vacationing, Frank",The daughter of War said as she paced her study, absentmindedly petting Aurum,her magical gold dog,as he sniffed her hand.

"All this strange weather....silence of the Gods,this indicates something bad is about to happen.",the latino late-teen scrunched her face in a worried frown.

"But Praetor I ..uh..mean Reyna",I stuttered,I still forgot that I and Reyna now held that the same rank and could use her name-the way she preferred it.

"What I firmly believe is that at least now we ought to take a break. We've been on overdrive since months.Its high time we take a break and settle down for a while.",I continued.

"But Frank all these ill omens,new demigods dying before they reach our borders...we know something is off.If there are foes which are going to attack, we have no knowledge of what might happen!"

"Which is all the more reason we should head for the Greek camp.", I countered.

"Not to forget",I added,"We defeated Gaia Herself..and the Giants."

"No other enemies are strong enough to topple the World's Order into Chaos you know.."

"Regular monsters", I continued,"will continue to attack as they've doing since oh-so-many millennia...and you very well know that we Romans aren't so weak that our legion will crumble into disarray if their Praetors take a few days off."

Reyna continued to pace about her chair in silence as if considering  the implications of her taking a few days off her job...with pay preferably.

I wondered whether Jason and Hazel,who were waiting outside, were beginning to worry what was taking so long.I had been the one to ask Reyna to tag along for our little Greek holiday since I had begun to understand her and knew her loneliness.A few days with her Greek friends would do her good I'd figured.

"It will be nice to hang out with friends...", she ventured.

"Piper and Annabeth both invited me to their birthday celebrations but I didn't go..."

"I guess since they've personally threatened  to kidnap me from my bed at night if I didn't show up the next time they invited me to Long Island, I should come along too."

"It would be pretty humiliating for a Roman Praetor if  she gets abducted from her quarters at night." ,she noted.

"Annabeth recovered the Athena Parthenos singlehandedly with a broken ankle,fell into Tartarus and fought her way back..."

"Piper charmed Gaia Herself to a slumber and defeated the Giantess Periboia while her mother Venus...I mean Aphrodite danced about her throwing rose petals.", Reyna said, smiling as she remembered her best friends' daring feats.

"Yup",I agreed reminiscing my days with the crew of the Argo II."If anyone can pull it off,they certainly can."

"So you're coming? I'd better go tell Jason to inform Perce that you're coming too....I mean you are coming right?" I stumbled as I realized that I had just mentioned two of Reyna's previous love interests in one sentence. NOT a smooth move Zhang!
