Believing in yourself-Goalies (mostly hope and ash)

Ashlyn Harris was watching her mentor and fellow goalkeeper Hope Solo practice when Hope went up to block a shot and she blocked it and the other defenders cleared it but nobody watched it as it went away everyone was crowded around Hope's fallen body. She had landed hard on her good shoulder and was crying in pain. Carli was by her side in an instant. Hope was not able to move. She wanted to sit up but couldn't so the trainers were able to sit her up and started checking it she cried out at any movement and so they took her off the pitch and Ashlyn went in for her.

Time skip: Later that night at dinner

Hope had disappeared and they didn't know where she was but suddenly the doors opened and a trainer and Hope came in and the goalkeeper had a sling on with her shoulder wrapped so the trainer helped her get her food she was sat down and her food was cut up and she ate with one hand and Carli soon was feeding her. Hope finished and told them "I need surgery again possibly so I'll probably retire after it." They were in shock before Hope said "my body can't take it anymore I'm too old to be a goalkeeper." They nodded and soon they took Hope to her room for meds and sleep.

Next morning

Ash and Alyssa had been pulled aside and told them all Hope's shoulder was severely damaged and would need surgery and she has decided to end her career with national team and the nwsl.

They were in absolute shock and couldn't believe it. Then Jill told the goalies that Hope wanted to see them.

They went to where Hope was laying and they noticed the ice and sling almost like a brace and went over and the trainer shook her gently and told her "Hope, Ash and Alyssa are here like you requested." Hope replied "thank you James." He left them alone and Hope told them "believe girls believe in yourselves."

They ended up doing that and they both became great goalkeepers and made Hope proud.
