MacKenzie p.o.v
After the group chat with Malai, Layla, and Jasmine I go shower and put clothes on (picture). Then I put two French braids in my hair and apply a little lip gloss. I'm not big on makeup.
I grab my light blue and lime green penny board and skate to the park. As soon as I get there I see Malai sitting and Layla skating over. So I walk over to them and we talk for a minute until Jasmine skates up quickly and kind of startles us. We finish our conversation quickly.
"Y'all ready to go get some froyo?" I say. They all say something along the lines of yeah or yes. So we all penny board over to tcby, which is pretty much down the road from our neighborhood. As soon as we get there I run in. Just as quickly as I run in, I run out. Amari is in there.
Amari p.o.v
I'm sitting inside tcby with Sebastian, Raiden, and Jamal. I see MacKenzie run in here. She meets my eyes and runs back out. I wonder whats wrong with her.
Layla p.o.v
Mack runs back out of tcby and I'm like what?? I look into the window and see Amari, Sebastian, Jamal, and Raiden all sitting at the same table. All of our crushes. "Y'all come on I didn't skate over here just to come back. I don't care if that's Obama in there we are gonna go eat froyo like regular girls! Okay?" They all mutter kay or mhmm. I lead the girls into tcby. We go get our yogurt and sit at a table near the boys a little. Sebastian speaks up and says we should scoot a table over and sit with them. So the girls and I go over there.
