Connie pov
I am the worst. I knew I should've been carful. I knew Stevens life is different than mine! I have to apologize. We're almost at his house.
"Steven, I---" I start
"...hmm?" He mumbles looking at me in those eyes. You know the ones. So starry.
"I'm---sorry about tonight." I say calmly
"What? I need to apologize! I acted like I was born yesterday! I ate with two forks! Two! How is that even possible?!" He says and I can't help but giggle.
"I'm so jealous of your life" I blurt. "Well, I am amazing!" He says.
I giggle "no, it's because it's so magical and interesting." I mean, sure: I am a sword fighter but you live it first hand! My life is so Boring and etiquette."
Steven pov
"But you're not boring!" I say
"I'm not?" Connie asks, almost in tiers
I shake my head.
"To be honest, my life is a handful as well." I say. She looks up at me a bit in shock at what I said. I continue "all these responsibilities just so I can live up to my moms name... And not to mention almost dying every day! Its just..." I pause and chock on my words. "...too much?" Connie finishes my sentence.
I nod.
