Niall:

You had spent all day getting ready for dinner that night. Niall was taking you out to an expensive restaurant for your one year anniversary. You had bought a new dress, a red one. You had curled your hair and done your makeup. All that was left to do was wait. But the waiting part took far to long. 10 minutes. 20 minutes. 30 minutes. 40 minutes. 50 minutes. An hour. Still no Niall. He must’ve forgotten. Teary eyed, you took your shoes off and started walking upstairs when the door slammed open. There stood Niall, with a bag in his hand. “(Y/N) I’m so sorry! I can explain!” “Save it.” You spit. “But I got you this.” He hands the bag to you. As you’re opening it he says, “I saw you eyeing it in the store the other day. I went back and there weren’t anymore. I went to 10 different stores trying to find it. That’s why I was late.” You pulled out the very same dress that you had wanted. “I had to guess on the size-” you cut him off and wrapped your arms around him. “I love it.”

Zayn:

That morning Zayn had left to the studio before you woke up. So that day, you decided you were going to do something nice for him on your anniversary this year. You spent the day cleaning the house. You set up the dinning room table with candles, a nice table cloth, and a rise in the middle. It was perfect. You made a cake for desert and then started on dinner so it would be ready when Zayn got home. You set the dinner on the table and then put on a nice outfit and waited for him. His car pulled up and then he made his way into the house. “Hey babe you look nice.” He said. He must be messing with you, you thought. Trying to scare you by making you think he forgot. “Thank you. Dinners on the table!” You said after giving him a kiss on the cheek. You made it through dinner, still not a word about your anniversary. You were starting to think he really did forget. You were eating desert when he said, “So, (y/n), what’s the occasion for all of this?” He said. Your eyes teared up and you looked at him and said, “Think about what today is.” A look of realization came upon his face and you stormed upstairs. He really had forgotten.

Liam:

Liam was the last person you’d think would forget your anniversary. But yet, he still hadn’t showed up. There you sat, alone at a table in the restaurant that you both had agreed on. You were walking to your car in the parking lot when he ran up to you. “Before you say anything, this is why I was late.” He says, handing you a beautiful necklace. “I had to find the perfect necklace for you.”

Louis:

It seemed like Louis always forgot you. Whether it was something small like picking something up from a store that you had asked him to, or a date that he forgot. So when he came into your apartment 2 hours later than he was supposed to to pick you up for your 3rd anniversary dinner, you couldn’t help but be furious. “Sorry (y/n)! The boys and I went out to a bar. I forgot.” He said casually. “You always forget me, don’t you?” You said angrily. With angry tears in your eyes you ran into the bedroom and slammed the door, locking it. You had had enough of his forgetting.

Harry:

It wasn’t like him to be late or forget things. He was always on time. So you couldn’t possibly believe that he was late to your fifth anniversary dinner. Yet an hour had passed and you were losing hope. You left the restaurant and went back to the apartment. You changed into sweatpants and a t shirt and curled up on the couch. You heard the door open and you saw Harry come in. “Why didn’t you come?” You said sadly. “Because I was getting you this.” He said, holding out a box. He came over to you and knelt on one knee, opened the box, and there sat an engagement ring.
