I sat next to Thomas in the cafeteria. The guys in front of us were talking about there experience in the maze

"How long have you guys been here?" Newt asked

"Not long. That kid over there. He's been here for a week" we looked over at the boy sitting by himself. "And that guard.... Amanda!"

They all tensed. I tensed. I got a bit jealous.

"She's been here for a month and that other one Nick has been here for at least 2 months"

"His maze was filled with girls" another guy said about the boy.

"Really?" I asked.

"Some guys have all the luck" he said.

"Evening gentleman" Janson said as he walked in. "Ladies. You all know how this works. If you hear you name called please rise in an orderly fashion and join these guards"

I watched as a fresh and relaxed Amanda and Nick came in

"Behind me where they will escort you to the eastern wing. Your new lives are about to began!"

I clutched my gun as I stared at the kids faces. I smiled at Aris. He gave me a weak grin. Untouched food on his plate I glared at him he started picking it and giving me a look

"Connor" Janson said. A blonde boy stood up getting a high five and running to us. "Evelyn."

"Justin."

"Peter"

I saw Aris crouching down. I sighed.

"Allison"

"Squiggy" laughter went around the room.

"Alright settle down" Janson said. "Franklin"

"And.... Abigail" he closed his clipboard. Groans went around the room.

"Now, now don't get discouraged if I could take more I would" Janson said.

The kids next to me looked eager.

"There's always tomorrow. Your time will come" he finished. "Go on eat up"

Claps went around the room.

My eyes met Minho's but Janson motioned me to bring the kids and I did.

"Aris" I said. "No I'm not sneaking in their."

Elowen purred against my leg. Craving attention.

"Where do they go??" He asked me as he shoved a piece of bread in his mouth I sighed

"I don't know. Neither does Nick. Janson just leads us to the doctor and she takes from there." I said. "Come on Elowen time to go to bed"

I fed him one last rat then closed the gate. He purred and fell asleep on his bed. I turned to Aris

"And don't go looking for trouble Aris"
