We all sat in Detention trying to be as quiet as possible. For some reason, I didn't believe Miles. His ex is pretty (with make-up on). I bet he wouldn't be embarrassed to be with her in public like he is with me.  Then Miles passed me a note.

"Can we meet after school?"

"I don't know, Miles."

"What?"

"What if you were lying? What if that wasn't Andy, but you?"

"C'mon now, baby. Don't think like that."

"Come to the bleachers after school."

"OK Ill see you then."

I put my head down on my desk until some old bitter lady came over to me. She was blabbering about me to lift my head up and how detention was made to be to think about what I did wrong. I didn't care. She told me she was gonna suspend me for 5 days. I shrugged my shoulders and laughed at her. Then I saw, she was very serious. She slapped a bright yellow neon paper on my desk saying "5 days out of school detention for Christina Fenly." I then just walked out of the detention room because, let's face facts!

If I got suspended, I might as well leave. Maybe I'll go to Chipotle for lunch. I showed the security guard my suspension paper and he let me leave out. I put my sunglasses over my eyes and walked around the neighborhood. I wasn't gonna go home right away cause I knew I had a punishment coming. Mom was gonna take my phone, my TV, I don't know, but I knew it was coming. Or I could just lie and leave out every morning and pretend I didn't get suspended. Just go hang out with Amber who's also suspended.

Anyway, dismissal time came along and I waited at the bleachers for him. Just when I started to believe him, I saw him doing something despicable.  He hugged his ex. Then she kissed his cheek and walked away. I didn't cry or anything. I just shrugged my shoulders and walked away slowly. He saw me leaving and tried to catch up.

"Chris."

"Yo baby."

"My name isn't baby to you anymore. It's Christina. Were over!"

"What are you talking about? What did I do?"

When he said that I stopped and turned around flipping my hair. This is my my time to prove that I am not stupid and don't like being played.

"I saw you, Miles. She kissed your cheek. How could you do this? You lied to me and made me feel special. I can't believe I trusted you. I.....I.. I knew it was too good go be true. Delete my number, don't talk to me, look at me, think about me, breathe my air, in fact, do not speak my name again."

"Christina, you knew this would happen, sweetie. I liked you and all, but I still had feelings for her and she apologized to me, so I took her back. I wanted to break up with you  but I didn't wanna hurt your feelings."

"Well, you should've said something to me. I can never trust you again."

I walked away in the cold with my sunglasses. I felt tears on my cheek and I wiped them away. Don't cry is the only thing I hear in my head. I can go home and vent to my mom, I'm pretty sure she won't mind hearing what just happened. It started getting darker and darker. It was only 4 but it looked about 6:00. The sky was dark blue.
