Cupid's extremely tight chokehold (Part 1)

A few days later, I was allowed to go back to school My mom never found out what had happened and we'll keep it that way. But his mom knows. Anyway, me, Amber, Todd, Andy and Greg decided to pay him a visit. They said if we hadn't of gotten him to the hospital, he would have died of shock. But, we got to St. Margaret and went to the Children's hospital where he was being held. Before walking in, Miles only asked to see me first. I thought it was weird considering the bastard cheated on me and went back with his ex. 

"Hey, Miles."

"Hi, Chris."

"Why'd you only call me in here?"

"Because I want to apologize. Apologize for what I'd done. Danielle and her friends were the ones who robbed me. She lured me into the forest told me to drive there before school to give me an ummmm "blow" and when I got there, like 5 guys were waiting. "

"And what?" 

Miles had tears in his eyes as he blinked, they had fallen down his cheeks. He covered his face in shame of crying, but he couldn't help it. He cried. I'd never seen a teenage boy cry before so I held him close to me. I wiped away his tears with a Kleenex and waiting for him to tell me the rest of the story. I sat on the edge of the hospital bed and he pulled me a little closer to him. 

"Chris, they took my cars, cards, money, and driver's license. Danielle laughed in the back and then they beat me. One I remember clearly, is a guy stomped my chest. He damn near killed. The girl almost had me killed."

"Are you serious? How do these guys look?"

"I don't remember clearly."

"Did you report Danielle to the cops?"

"She got arrested yesterday. Chris, I'm sorry for kissing her. You were the best girlfriend I had ever had. I'm sorry I was such an ass."

I didn't day anything. I just looked at him with this blank expression after he said that. He held my hand and smiled at me. That nearly sent my heart running. I couldn't help it. He sat up to kiss and I was on board. We kissed for a good 5 minutes straight. I got off his bed and wiped my mouth. 

"Call me tonight, hun."

"I will call you tonight, baby. Call the rest in here."

I called for the others to come in the room and we all talked about what was going on at school. After school, me and Greg hung out in my moms garden. It was 64 degrees which was oddly warm for November. So we hung there and did our homework. We ended up having music together which I thought was pretty cool. All my buddies have a class together. Anyway, we had to write a song only using German. 

"Holy shit this is hard as hell."

"That's what I'm saying."

"You know what else is hard?"

"Oh my god, Greg you are inappropriate."

"No I was gonna say you. You're hard to get. I've been trying to get with you since we were 12."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah. I think I'll treat you a bit better than any of the guys here. They are jerks and I really really like you, Christina."

"Awww that's sweet."

We had sung Garden by Sean Hayes and he had put his hard around me as we sung and laughed together.

"Let's reenact the Garden from when we were 6."

"Haha no way!"
