So Literature was really a blur. Just some mid-life crisis white lady talking acting 20 telling us about how much this year is gonna rock. But teachers always pull that same bullcrap line. I have next period Choir. I love to sing so yea I'm pretty excited. I get there smiling as I see my friends. Amberlynn my best friend. We've been besties since 2nd grade. Were so close, even our Aunt Flo visits at the same time at times. She has brown hair and green eyes and has a wonderful physique. Hour glass figure with nice boobs and butt. Any teen girl would kill for her body. She is waving at me smiling and signals me to sit near her. Her boyfriend, Todd, is right next to her with his arm around her shoulder. He's a football jock and is kinda hot I'll admit. I'd never tell Amberlynn that though. I take the Available seat next to her.
"How was your summer, girly!!!!!! The ????"
I can tell she's excited to see me. I'm just as excited.
"It was good, I went to Orlando, Florida."
I'm smiling hard and very happy to see her. She tosses her boyfriend's arm off her aggressively.
"What the hell, Amber?!"
Her boyfriend is a little pissed I can see. "
"Suck an egg, loser."
Amber playful tells him. Suddenly we hear a bunch of guys come in the room. I look over to see him, Miles Lucas. Every girl at prairie high likes him....Me included. He is half Canadian French half Jamacian. He has curly dark hair with light bronze skin and the cutest little mole next to his nose. I bite my lip and tap Amber. She was arguing with her boyfriend and turned around saying
"What's up?"
She smirks and leans in closer to my ear.
"That's your crush."
She whispers and wraps her arm around me. Over the summer, Miles tried to flirt with me at this luau Todd had. He was like super drunk, you could smell it on his breath. But regardless, he's super cute, a great actor in the drama club, very funny and smart. I'm sure he's taken by some lucky girl. He smiles and walks towards me. I look down and pull out my phone quickly to make it not look obvious I was looking at him.
"Hey there, Chris."
I look up and surprise, surprise it's Miles.
"Hey, Miles."
I say it with no emotion to hide that I have a crush on him. He takes the empty seat next to me along with his buds. The bell rings and an Asian man rushes in.
"Hello class! I am Mr. Song. Kind of ironic that my last name is Song and I teach choir."
The entire class giggles. We each go around and say our names because there are many new students this year. It started out with Todd. Of course, him being a hunk, he starts out bragging about how he's super awesome. After Amber, it's my turn.
"Well, I'm Christina Fenly. People call me Chris for short. I'm 16 I'm 11th grade and performing arts is my passion."
I smile as everyone says
"Hi Chris!"
"She's also very pretty"
I turn around and see Miles smiling at me.
"Stop it, dude."
I tell him in a fake irritated voice.
"Well I'm Miles Lucas. I'm 17 in the 11th grade. I like to act and make movies and I love science class!
Behind are blushing girls giggling and admiring him.
"He's such a fox" "He has a girlfriend I already know." "Any girl would be lucky as ever to date him."
That's what I hear behind me. We went around the class room and eventually it ended. So we had class discussions about the class afterwards.
"I've never taught here before. I'm new. I'm only 23 and my first name is Nicholas. I figured I'd tell you since we are all comfortable with each other."
Mr. Song is pretty nice actually, I like him. The bell rings and Amber, Todd and I all walk together out the class. As I walk towards math class, Miles speeds up his walk and walks beside me. I can feel my face getting hot and I'm about to blush soon. My palms are sweating and my binder is getting slippery in my hands.
"Chris, why are you being mean to me?"
I stop walking and he stops too.
"I'm not being mean, I mean ummm......I don't mean to be mean to you, Miles. You're cool actually."
My throat is scratchy and my speech is stuttering. He smiles and says;
"Talk to you later, alligator."
He walks away all straight back
"In a while, crocodile."
I smile and yell at him. He turns around and smiles at me. I don't know if I like him for that dude yet. He's hot, popular, smart, funny and a great actor Plus, I bet he's taken.
