My mom, dad, Cathy and I are eating dinner at the table. I'm smiling in between bites and happily sighing.
"You are in a good mood tonight, Chris." My mom says putting down her glass of diet sprite.
"Good things happen?" my mom says smiling.
"Yea." I say blushing and smiling
"Like what?"
"Well, my crush did something awesome."
"What he'd do?"
"He came over for tutoring. He gave me the most passionate hug."
"Awwww so cute!" My mom says running her hands through my hair
"This is so sweet, my daughters first love." After dinner, I go to my room and call up Amber.
"Ambi here!"
"Amber, he's so sweet."
"You guys look so cute together!"
"Really?"
"Totally"
"He still doesn't seem like boyfriend material"
"Why do you say that?"
"Well, he has many groupies that like him."
"So......he doesn't date his thirsty groupies, "I know but, I'll have so many people coming after me."
"Listen, I'm not encouraging you to date him if you don't want to, Chris. If you don't want to date him, just tell him in a friendly manner, ok?"
"That's good advice, Amber. I'm just....I know I like him and he's my dream guy and all but, I can't see him as anything more than a friend."
"I'll help you tell him at school."
"That's a good idea, I could use a friends company to let down a guy. Haha"
"Haha!"
"Talk to you later, Amber."
"See you tomorrow, Chrissy."
