After that life changing kiss, I was stuck on cloud nine. Stan had put me back on the ground to let my heart slow down, but I still stayed in his arms, breathing in old spice and wishing I could be like this forever.
Someone coughed dramatically and both me and Stan turned to face the voice, shocked. we never noticed a car had pulled up, and Ellie was sitting on the roof of it, smirking, while Wyatt was sitting in the passenger's seat giving Stan a thumb's up.
"Hey, lovebirds. Now that you're finished eating each other's faces off, I thought it'd be cool to catch a movie and some food." She slid down the side of the car wearing a long sleeved striped shirt, which was weird for how hot it is outside, a pair of black shorts and some black converse. I noticed the blue was almost gone from her long blonde hair.
I smiled at her, as Stan and I crawled in the backseat.
"Not so fast, birthday girl," Ellie laughed. She gave Wyatt a dramatic look, and he sighed, and got out the passenger's seat. Ellie moved over , sitting in the passenger's seat, and Wyatt moved to the back with Stan.......and that left me, on the outside with the driver's seat being the only one available.
"If you think I'm driving, you seriously lost y--"
"Shut the hell up. You're old enough to. You have your learners. And we're not gonna let anything happen to you, right guys?"
"Right," the guys chirped like birdies.
"So," She gave me a devilish look. "Shut up and Drive."
She handed me a pair of keys that had a purple "best friend's forever" key chain and a photo of me and her on the inside of it. I turned it over and it had a note engraved in it.
Happy Birthday, to the Best Friend, no... Sister I could ever ask for. I couldn't think of what to get you, so I'm going to share my car with you now that you're an old lady like me. Love forever, Ellie
I started to cry like a little bitch. "Oh, Ellie. I love you."
She smiled. "I love you too. Now get in."
