Wedding

After Stan and Wyatt left I proceeded to calm Ellie down so that we could get ready for the wedding.

"Ellie, let's talk about this," I pleaded, thumping my hands hard on the bathroom door. After five minutes she opened the door with a flourish.

"Nothing to talk about," Ellie sniffed. "Wyatt and me are over. He went and got high with Kiana. That stupid bitch he secretly likes. Well now he can go be with her."

"Ellie, you know that boy loves you. He's young, he's stupid, but he's stupid in love with you." I held her.

"That's just it, Kat. I love him. I'm smart in love with him. Because I don't want to lose him. He doesn't care if he loses me. He just...He didn't even run into the house after me. He doesn't care about me, Katalia."

"He was about to cry. He wanted to come in but I told him I'd talk to you." I said. I didn't really lie, I just twisted the truth. "Look, why don't you call him?"

Ellie thought about it. "After the wedding. Sunday night I'll call him, and we'll meet up at the cafe." She hugged me. "I'd be insane without you, Kat."

I smiled at her and we went to put some jeans and t-shirts on. We were going to breakfast with Andre, Aly, my family, and Aly's family at Venicis Italian restaurant, go to Fashion Nails and Spa to get us girls ready, pick up all the dresses at May's Bridalwear head to the small wedding  chapel on Baker street and then come back to my house for a small after party.

We had a long day ahead of us but I knew it'd all work out. Breakfast was really, really good. I hadn't had a meal like that one in a while. It felt amazing to get the pedicures and manicures, and to have my hair blown out and curled in a way I could never do. With Ellie's permission, they dyed her hair a dirty blonde color; even Ellie had to admit her blue hair would distract the wedding. We got the dresses, but for some weird reason, Aly couldn't fit her dress, even though it was a size bigger than what she'd normally wear. After she got fitted for a different dress, we headed to the chapel and got them married. Ellie was even smiling when they'd kiss.

"I had the biggest crush on your brother, now he's getting married. This is very depressing," She laughed.

Apparently Andre heard her, because he came over and kissed her cheek. "If only I had known," he joked, then walked away from Ellie, who looked like she might scream, or pass out, or both.

"Alright, guys, let's pack it on up! We got a party to start!" My mom shouted, winking at me.

Today's been a good day.
