Chapter 4

'It's Starting'

Almost isang oras na kami nagkwe-kwentuhan ni Gab. "I know I need to be happy for you but I just can't you've been keeping a lot of secrets and I don't know how long I can keep up with." nginitian ko si Gabriel, alam kong sasabihin nya ito sa akin. "I don't think I can." ipinatong ko yung plato sa harapan nya at umupo na sa kabilang sofa.

"Why aren't you happy? Aren't you happy that you debuted and got a new pretty vocalist that is obviously better than me." nanlaki yung mata ko nung narealize ko na hindi ka topic yung sinasabi ko. "I mean, you don't need to be happy for me Gab, I'm doing fine." hindi nya na ako tinanong.

I've been deciding between telling him that I will be staying in his school too, but I think it's too much secret to handle adding I will be another person. Siguro isasarili ko na lang yung secret para mas safe, ayaw ko rin namang sabihin na 'magiging nerd ako kaya itago mo'. It's too much of a favor.

"Buti pinaalala mo si Princess, Fatima. " he's not calling me princess anymore. "I really want you to meet her, she's been dying to know you." I rolled my eyes secretly and looked at him. Ghad, I'm gonna regret this.

"Can you please keep this meeting a secret too?" kita ko naman na parang nalaglag yung mukha nya, he's disappointed. I can see that on his face and I pretty know that he's annoyed too. "I just have things to deal with, Gabriel." I stared at his back while he's going out of the door. He's leaving me.

I ended up crying on my bed the whole night, with my locked door I lay down with my wet eyes. I know I'm pretty much expecting his reaction but  I can't overcome it, only me knows how close me and my cousin are, he's my other older brother other than my real one. He's a protector, and a hero too. I don't think I can afford lossing him.

I woke up with puffy eyes that I tried hard to cure, and I pretty much succeeded. I'm planning to go to my school to get my uniform, and I don't know if I'm gonna be wearing the nerd outfit right now because I haven't told this to Ate Ria, yet. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang magiging reaksyon nya, fashionista si ate and I think she'll get hysterical when I showed up wearing those.

An hour of deciding, I ended up wearing it and here I stood infront of my sister. "Uhm, Fatima? What is this I'm seeing? Are you seriously going like this to your school? No, you are gonna change right now." hindi ako umibo nung hinila nya ako. "What's wrong?"

"I will explain everything, I promise."

I said all my plan for all the five months that I'll be staying and disguising like this so I can last the longest, when the company knew that my cover are revealed they will get me from here instantly. Gusto kong mabuo yung limang buwan na kasama yung mga kaibigan ko at pamilya, kahit maging ibang tao pa ako. It seems that my older sister understand me.

Nung nakarating ako sa school bigla akong kinabahan, school started already 2 months ago at may mga estudyante na pakalat kalat kahit school hours na and I know they don't like me based on their stares. The best thing to do is to ignore so I did, and it might be the best choice. Get yourself together, Fatima.

The school didn't change that much, I started learning things from here since kindergarden at kahit hanggang grade 7 ako dito, wala akong masyadong kaibigan. I think it started when they knew that my family own the school they don't really talk to me so I completely isolated myself, except for the band though. They were my only bestfriends.

"Goodmorning, Ate Yeol!" mukhang nagulat sya nung nakita nya ako. Kung ako rin siguro yung nasa pwesto nya hindi ko makikilala yung nasa unahan ko. Based on their reactions, it seems that my plan is working. I'm really glad.

"Wait what? Fatima is that you?" napapikit ako nung biglang umirit si Ate Yeol. Sa buong magpipinsan si ate yata yung pinaka maingay, magka age lang sila ni Ate Ria pero parang mas matanda pa si Ate kaysa kay Ate Yeol ng sampung taon. "I miss you!" I hugged her.

"I feel the same ate, you should go and visit the house sometimes too, I have load to talk to you about." ngumiti ako sa kanya. "By the way, kailangan ko po ng uniform Ate Yeol, papasok na po siguro ako bukas. Nabobored na po ako sa bahay." hinila ako ng pinsan ko sa tailor dito sa university.

After the fitting, nagulat na lang ako nung may ipinakilala sa akin si Ate Yeol, mukhang student president ata. "This is Kyle and he's our student president. I asked him to give you a quick tour around the university, may kaunting pagbabago rin dito kaya baka maligaw ka bukas. Just to be sure okay?"

Nagsimula ng maglakad yung Kyle kaya sumunod na ako. "Hello, Kyle! Ikaw ba talaga yung student president, I think it's gonna be rude but hindi ka mukhang ganun." may piercing kasi sya sa labi na nagpamukha sa kanya na delinquent. "Mukha kang gangster." nagulat naman ako nung tumawa sya.

"Well a lot of people said that to me but I'm used to it. Just a question, does this piercing really make me look bad because people are scared of me for no reason." nagulat ako nung inakbayan nya ako. "Well I thought I look cool in it."

"It does look cool on you, it give me the chilly feeling haha. You look handsome too, to be honest. " not to be flirty or something. Kyle just looks good and I want him to feel better about himself.

He stared at me and I laughed at him. " Well, why don't we go back to our bussiness here, Mr. Student President?" Kyle was smiling the whole university tour.
