Chapter 13 - One In A Million (Floorplan of 1st Floor Banks House) --->
Tap. Tap. Tap.
With a frustrated sigh I hop off my bed and harshly open the window, to shout at whatever is making the repetitive noise.
My anger fades instantly seeing Leo standing with his arms in the air, looking up at me with a grin.
"Scarlett Banks, will you go out on a date with me?" He whispers bending down on one knee.
I giggle at his pose on one knee. "Your going to have to try better than that." I smirk and move back away from the window.
Leaving it open, I faintly hear Leo groan to himself making me smile like a goofball.
Since I told Leo he had to be creative if he wanted to ask me out, his attempts have been amusing me every time.
There was one time where he made me toast with the words 'date me?' from alphabet spaghetti. I laughed so hard falling over the bar stool. I ate the toast but declined his offer.
Another time was when he wrote little poems on sticky notes, placing them in my room until I found one under my pillow asking me out. Although the poems were sweet and kind; I knew he googled them because let's face it, Leo could not come up with those words.
So here I am rejecting yet another proposal from Leo. I know from the determination speech he gave me that regardless of getting rejected, he will continue to come up with ways to ask me out.
"Yo Scar! We're going to the cinema, you want to come?" Jace shouted from the hallway.
I trudged out of my room to the top of the stairs.
"What are you going to watch?" I asked wearily.
When Jace says he is going to watch a film, I always end up regretting it because he almost gets us kicked out. And also the film he chooses sucks ass, big time.
"Um... I don't know. I'll find out when I get there. So you game?"
I look down at what I'm wearing. Yellow crop top with black laced skirt and neon green socks.
"I'm game, give me a few to get my bag and I'll meet you outside." I reply before going back to my room.
Since my hair is straightened, I brush it to the side and put some gold bangles on my wrists. Next I slip on my hi-tops and grab my side bag, heading downstairs to meet Jace.
"Lock up." Jace said as soon as I leave the house.
"Looks like we all are going then, hey?" I quiz, eyeing Chase and Leo leaning against Jace's car.
Chase grinned, his eyes bright. "We sure are. Lets go! Shot gun front seat!" He shouts opening the passenger door.
I huff and flick his head as I go by and get into the back seat. Leo follows after meaning the twins take the front seats. Great, I'm with Leo in the back.
Smirking to myself, I discreetly lay my hand on his thigh. Leo stiffens immediately, looking at me quickly. Keeping my eyes on the window, I make small circles along his leg with a grin on my face.
Jace is driving and Chase is going through music, finding a tune to play.
"Keep doing that and I won't be responsible for what happens next." Leo whispers near my ear.
The confined space in the back meant me and Leo were closer then ever. Also with him being as tall as a giant, his legs open wide taking most of my room - not that I have any anyways.
