Chapter 16 - Hot & Cold (Photo of Chloe) --->
This is the time of year that majority of students in school and college hate.
Exams.
I get that we have to do them in order to see how well we are doing on subjects and stuff, but it's harder doing them in the summer when everyone's all hot and bothered. I swear the government needs to rethink about when exams should be taken.
"You will have one hour and thirty minutes to take this English exam. Good luck and begin." The examiner said on the stage through the microphone.

"Hey Scar how did your English exam go?" Chloe asked as I met her in the hallway.
"It's alright, just too bloody hot to sit there for ages in the heat congested room." I reply.
She laughed and said, "So you seen Hailey today?"
"Come to think of it, I haven't."
That was weird.
She wasn't there in the morning where we usually meet up. I wonder where she is.
Me and Chloe walked outside to sit under a shaded tree. The weather was getting warmer everyday and people were literally walking in their underwear.
"The twin's party was so great last week. I've been hearing all good things about it around the college." Chloe began.
I raised a brow with a smile. "I know... we are amazing party planners!"
We both laughed before I thought back to what Hailey did. "Hey Chloe, what happened with you at the party?"
Immediately she turned pink from her cheeks as she looked down at the grass. "N-nothing."
Taking the opportunity to tease her, I lay down on my stomach and rested on my elbows so I was right in her view.
"Come on Chloe, I know something went on. A little birdie informed me."
Chloe's big cute eyes looked at me. "I bumped into a guy with Hailey and after the apologies we started talking. When I looked around, she was gone so I got nervous. He saw that and offered to get us some food which I agreed to and from there I was more comfortable with him. We danced and had fun."
"Aww..." I cooed getting up on my knees. "Tell me more! Who was he, what did he look like? Everything girlfriend!"
Her eyes went wide as I put her on the spot.
"Oh um... I... he...w-we..." she stuttered shakily.
I rolled my eyes and took her hands in mine, making her look at me. "Hey, don't be nervous. It's me you're talking to. Be glad it's not Hailey as she is worse than me." I joked at the end.
A smile crept on the side of her mouth and I knew I had her. "Okay, his name is Mark and he is doesn't go to our college. He has dark brown hair that's styled up and soft green eyes. He was so nice and sweet that he's asked to meet up again soon."
"What did you say to that?" I asked eagerly. Fingers crossed it was a yes.
"I told him that would be nice, so we exchanged numbers." She said smiling with a faraway look.
I grinned at her, happy to see she was comfortable with a guy. Chloe deserves the best in life and knowing her parents don't know about this is a good thing. They will go crazy if she had a boyfriend so I was glad she stood her ground and made decisions for herself.
"Was he a friend of the twins then, because I can't recall a Mark." I said thinking back to the twin's friends who I've met.
She shook her head. "He is but they met him when they went for the P.E exam few weeks back. They became friends and he was around at the time of the party and joined in."
