Chapter 27 - The Good Life (Photo of Chase & Hailey) ---->

Life was getting back on track. My brothers accepted Leo much like their own brother and we all got along better than before.

Hailey and Chloe were ecstatic to hear the good news which ended up in a party - at mine and Leo's house. I didn't mind having all the people I love around me, but the mess at the end was crazy. All in all, things were back to normal with work and college life.

It was Thursday afternoon and I was sat with Tristen at Club Ace in his office, talking about the upcoming events.

"The club is a popular spot right now from what I hear around town." I comment casually looking at the fliers I was making on the computer.

Tristen chuckles whilst looking through the files. "Yeah, it's always full on Fridays and Saturdays with more people lining up outside."

"Wow really?" I ask amazed.

"Yes." He answers. "It's pretty crazy though, they all rush in the moment we open the doors. I had to hire extra security for that."

Words were forgotten in my mind at that thought. This club was on fire!

Turning on the chair I face him with a smile. "This must all be surreal. Your dreams come true."

Tristen gazes at me intently, his eyes burning with passion at my words. "It is." He croaks, clearing his throat. "I absolutely love it."

I pat his hand and turn back to the computer to finish off these fliers. Tristen told me during the week he wanted me to design the flier so that he can get them printed and shifted around the city for the event which was coming up in a month.

It was a Valentine's event which you needed to buy tickets for because there will be no come in as you wish kind of thing. This was a strictly name on list event and if your name wasn't on the list, you won't be entering the club.

The perks of being the owner's sister were that I got myself 3 tickets already for me and my girls. They didn't know it yet but when they come to hear about this, I'm sure I will be squished between their bodies.

"Alright then, I'm done with these." I announced saving the flier first. I didn't want to have my hard work disappear that quickly.

Tristen moved around his office and leaned behind me on the chair.

"That looks incredible Scarlett. I love the colours and style with the in keeping of the theme of the club. Great job sis!" Tristen said excitedly, grinning widely. "You sure you don't want the designer position, it's yours if you want it?" he insists eagerly.

I giggle and stand up, stretching my legs. "I'll have a rain check on that at the moment. But I am considering it. Just let me get some of my exams out of the way and I'll let you know then. And thank you, I appreciate my good work being praised."

"I understand, get your exams done and the job can be yours if you want it." He replied easily.

"Thanks Tris, you're the best!" I said giving him a hug.

He pulled back and gazed down at me. "It's your birthday in a week." He stated.

A grin formed on my face. I was turning 18!

"Yeah, finally going to be an adult." I smile.

Tristen's lips twitched, a small smile creeping its way out. "I know, I can't believe you're growing up so fast."

"Me too. But life goes on and we all grow up." I say with a shrug.

Turning around, I pick up my phone to see the time. Tristen shuffles behind me when I look over my shoulder.
