Eve could only watch silently. She could only observe him walking away from her, his quiet footsteps were all she could hear amidst the blocked out sounds and voices from everyone else around her.
At that moment, he was the center of her attention. She couldn't help but to only focus on him, knowing that she must have seen him somewhere else before. But she couldn't tell. She wasn't able to recall, even if she thought long and hard about it. The forgetful Queen could only imagine and hypothesize all the different possibilities.
'Who was he?'
Eve hadn't acquired the chance for formal introductions, as the boy was being too rude for her to do much. But, she was still curious. For whatever reason, she wanted to know his name, to be added to her database, though it was already there from long ago, deep inside within the millions, billions, perhaps even trillions of files, and she simply didn't know.
Ring! Ding dong! The bell rang, snapping the Nasod back into reality.
Hurriedly, Eve rushed to her first period course. She had lost track of time, and once again, it was all thanks to her distraction, otherwise known as Add.

As she slid open the door to her morning class, which happened to be chemistry, everybody was already seated, she was the only one that came in late, though it was only a couple of minutes.
She stepped in confidently, as a Queen should, and headed straight to her desk. "Pardon the intrusion."
Her teacher, Mr. Pesop from Lanox, chuckled. "It's unlike you to be late, Eve. Well, you know the drill. You're on cleaning duty after school."
"Yes.." she muttered.
Cleaning duty wasn't the most pleasant thing in the world. Eve disliked the idea of doing work like that, though her servants were quite handy for chores. It would be a piece of cake with the aid from Oberon, Ophelia, and Ferdinand to tidy the place for her.
"Alright, class! We'll dig deeper into our chemistry unit this term, it'll be tons of fun, I assure you. Review the materials from pre-chemistry a year or two back, such as your ionic and covalent compounds, elements, the periodic table..." Pesop began to speak, on and on about instructions.
Eve found the subject rather easy, as she did with nearly every other subject in school. She was still a good student nonetheless, paying heed to the words of mentors.

The day flew by quickly after chemistry ended, the rest of her courses were a breeze. She hadn't forgotten about the punishment, though she did want to skip and head on home.
Eve ambled over to the science classroom, where Mr. Pesop awaited her. Even then, his paper bag concealed his face, as usual. It was as if he never took it off. Ever. It was a mystery as to how he was able to see with that thing on.
"Oh, Eve! Glad to see ya here. I'll be back to check up on you in half an hour or so, alright? I need to get some coffee from the lounge, and some other stuff, too." he laughed a little to brighten the mood.
"Affirmative." she responded with her usual monotone, dense to Pesop's attempt to lighten the vicinity.
"Thanks, Eve." he stood up, leaving with a chuckle.
For the first while, she was peacefully sipping tea, served by Ophelia, as Oberon and Ferdinand worked on decontaminating the room.
Abruptly, the gateway unlocked, as she heard footsteps creeping into the locality, though the Queen thought it was just Pesop returning early.
She was mistaken.
