It has been 6 months now. Sapphire has been growing and today is going to be the day we actually find out if our baby is a girl or boy. I'm putting on my jacket when I hear Sapphire. "Heyy..." I hear her say as I turn my head to see her. She is wearing a white maternity sweater with dark blue Jeans, high knited socks and brown boots. "...do I.....look sexy?....for a pregnant lady?" She said leaning on the bathroom door frame flipping her hair. I laugh. "Ooh...super sexy..." I said walking over to her placing my hands gently on her belly kissing her. She smiles. "Well...we better get going..." She says rubbing circles on her belly. "...I really want to prove that this baby.." she points to her belly. "Is a girl..." She says as I help her down the stairs. It's a little hard for her going down since she can't really see her feet. "Is that a bet?" I ask giving a smerk. "Yup! If it's a girl, like I say, then you give me 20 bucks if it's a boy vise versa...deal?" She asks sticking her hand out to which I shake. "Deal" I say kissing her cheek. I sigh and we drive to the hospital. When we get there there are people with cameras. I sigh and so does Sapphire. We have gotten so popular to the point where people fallow us around even though it's not a whole lot of people since we are in a small town. We park and we get out and I take Sapphire's hand. People were taking pictures and we honestly go so used to it we didn't really pay any attention to them. It was worse when we headed to LA for the finals, which we won by the way, so I'm not entirely complaining. Once in the doctors office Sapph sat down in the waiting room while I checked us in. It didn't take as long as we thought and we soon headed to the ultrasound room. "Hello ladies." Our doctor said. Greeting us as she entered the room. "How are y'all?" She asked and we replied with a 'doing well'. "So let's see how the baby is doing.." Sapphire laid down lifted her shirt to reveal her baby belly and the doctor felt around on her then started the ultrasound. We had some small talk then we saw our baby on the little monitor. Me and Sapphire smiled at each other. "Well the baby's heart is a strong little thing and it's really healthy..." She said moving the small joy stick around. "Good" Sapphire says and we bith smile, our baby was doing well and is healthy. "Would you two like to find out the gender of the baby?" Our doctor asks. "Yes..." We say "I have a feeling it's s girl...." Says Sapphire smiling up at me. Our doctor chuckled then moved around the joystick "let me get a clear view....ah here we go....and it's.....A GIRL!" She smiles and turns to show us the screen better. "Boom what did I tell you!" Sapphire says smiling. "Mothers intuition..." Says our doctor who started printing a picture of the baby as she starts putting everything away. I help sapphire sit up and fix her shirt as our doctor hands us a picture of our baby. "Well you are about 20 weeks so the baby well start to move and kick soon.." She said smiling. We left that day happy. Once home Sapphire stood in front of me with her hand held out. I look at her. She clears her throat "I believe I won our bet..." She said. I sighed and handed her a 20. She takes it "pleasure doing business with you..." She says smiling and kissing me. "...are we going to plan a baby shower now that we know the baby's gender?" I ask ans Sapph smiles. "Yeah...we can also start making the baby room..." She smiles. I chuckle.
