It's been a couple of weeks and our house was now baby proofed. We had our newborn pictures in our loving room showing off our baby to anyone who comes in. I'm back with playing basketball but I have the thought of getting out of the professional cerrer to spend more time with my family. I'm rarely home and when I am, I'm either working out or going to bed to get ready for games. Sapphire was singing again and she was going to release a new album soon. As for little Garnet she went everywhere with us. That night I came home exhausted. "Hey babe I'm home..." I said putting my keys on the table by the door. "Hey...we're in the kitchen!" Sapphire called. I walked into the kitchen and found Sapphire cooking spaghetti. Garnet was in her swing barley awake. I walked over to sapphire and wrapped my arms around her waist from behind. I kissed her cheek and looked over her sholder. "Looks good." I said then I let go and walked over to Garnet. I stopped the swing from rocking side to side and I took Garnet out and held her up and rubbed my nose against hers in which I got gurgling. "How was the game today? I never got to turn on the TV I'm sorry." Sapphire said as she was setting our plates on the table. "Eh...I'm not doing good...at all..." I said sitting down at the table with Garnet in my arms. We began to eat and Garnet was playing with my clothes trying to eat it. I pushed my shirt away from her mouth and shifted her in my arm. "Well...you have been out for a while..." sapphire said looking at me. I sigh "yeah....but I was thinking....I might just get out of being a pro..." I said messing with my fork. "WHAT? why? Ruby your so good!" She said with wide eyes. I looked at her. "Well...I just feel like I'm losing the passion...and I'm not playing well...and people hate me for leaving to stay with you...and...I want to give ad much time as I can to Garnet." I said shifting her in my Armas she started dozing off. Sapphire looked at her plate. "Honestly...it's your choice" She said smiling at me. "What ever makes you happy." She says. I smile. "Thanks...it's love you.." I said and she replied with walking over and kissing my cheek. She reached down and grabbed Garnet from my arm and carried her to her crib. I put out dishes in the sink and went up stairs to the baby room. I peaked inside watching sapphire Rick Garnet back and forth in her arms. I smiled. She looked beautiful the way the sunlight came through the window and made her glow. She began to sing over the rainbow again to shush Garnet who was waking slightly. I watched as Sapph put Garnet down into her crib finishing the song. She laid a kiss on the baby's forehead and brought back up the side to the crib then turned around. She saw me and blushed a bit before coming out to talk to me. "Were you watching?" She asked. I smiled and nodded. "Yeah...why do you sing over the rainbow to her so much?" I asked. Everytime she puts Garnet to sleep she sings over the rainbow. "Well...." She said taking my hand and leading me to the living room. I laid down on the couch and sapphire laid ontop. "...my mom used to sing it to me every time that I went to bed. She would sing it to me even when I got a little older when ever I was upset or just couldn't sleep....so I thought that I would sing it to my daughter..." She said smiling and laying her head on my chest. I ran my fingers through her hair. "That's sweet...it puts her right to bed too" I said smiling as her eyes looked up at me. She leaned up and rubbed our noses together then put her head back on my chest. For the next week I continued to play and day by day I was losing my touch. I was getting awful hate tweets that would completely cuss me out like "this stupid b**** thinks she can play. All she really knows is how to eat p****". I couldn't stand it. I laid in bed and sapphire was sleeping next to me with her head on my chest. I sighed. Once this season is over....I'm done...
