About 3 monts have passed since Rose telling us the big news. So far everything was going smoothly. But, that was until she go terribly sick. She had a high fever and was constantly vomiting. Sapphire and I decide to help Greg by staying at their place. Garnet was sleeping with Pearl and Amethyst in the their little fort in the living room. "Sapph..." muttered Rose. "Yes?" Sapph replied, she was patting Rose's forehead with a cool towel trying to bring down her fever. Rose couldn't take to much medicine because it could hurt the baby. "...will...will the...the baby be okay?" Rose said tearing up. Sapph glanced at me with a worried face. "I'm sure that the baby is strong..." she said smiling. I could tell from her face that she was only smiling to help her friend not to worry.

Greg and I fell asleep on the couch leaning against each other. Sapph had fallen asleep on the bedside next to Rose. My eyes fluttered open from the light from the bathroom. Rode was probably gonna throw up again, but instead I heard something that didn't sound to good. "AHH!! S-Sapphire!!" Rose yelled. I heard Sapph jump up and race to the bathroom. Both Greg and I followed. In the bathroom, rose was sittling in a small pool of blood on the floor crying. Sapph was holding her crying aswell. "What happened?" Greg said moving to Rose. "We...we....the baby!!!" Was all rose could muttler. Sapphire came to me and cried in my shirt. "She had a miscarriage?" I said softly not wanting to believe it. I felt Sapph nod. Soon, I had tears running down my face. That night, Sapph and I helped Rose get cleaned up and the 4 of us fell asleep next to one another.

For the next couple of weeks Rose never wanted to come out of her room. Sapphire and I didn't exactly know how to cheer her up. Sapphire lightly knocked on the door to Rose's room. "Rose?....can we come in?" She asked lightly pushing open the door and stepping inside. I neeld down to Garnet. "Can you go play with Amy and Pearl for me while mommy and I talk with Rose?" I asked. And she nodded sadly and I kissed her forehead. I walked into the room and saw Sapphire sitting next to Rose. I closed the door behind me and walked over to them. "Hey Rose..." I said. "I'm.....I'm so sorry..." I said. She shock her head. "No...no..don't apologize Ruby...." she said as u sat next to her. "Maybe...maybe I wasn't supposed to have this baby..." she said and Sapphire and I looked at each other with sad eyes. "...you know....everything happens for a reason..." she said smiling. "I'd rather have my baby safe in heaven then live sick.." she said. She hugged Sapphire and Me tightly. "You two are such good friends...I love you both!" She said tearing up. "We love you too Rose" Sapphire replied smiling. I know Rose is going to be okay. And you know what? Maybe Everything does happen for a reason. We still have a long life ahead of us all. We will just have to wait and see....
