Chapter 19

I opened my eyes and closed them againwhen i felt the light hit them. I slowly started to adjust to the light and sat up. I looked around i was in my room. What happened? I looked towards the window and saw Trent lying on the window seat. Then it flashed back to me. The lake the men the fight. I threw my legs over my bed and stood up. I felt light headed and went to fall when i felt someone catch me. I looked up to see Trent.

"Take it easy we don't know what happened to you last night you passed out during the fight" Trent said. "Lets get you some food and drink"

"Ok let me get changed first" He nodded and left the room. I grabbed some shorts and a vest top and a pair of converse and went into the bathroom. I quickly showered and towel dried my hair before getting dressed. I looked in the mirror before leaving. I gasped. There was a white streak in my hair. Confused i let it go. I was waiting for Trent then he walked out of his room.

"Your hair looks nice curly" He said.

"What do you mean? My hair never curls even when i do it with curlers" I replied.

"Well your hair is curly and theres a white streak in it" I walked back in to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. He was right my hair hung in loose curls.

"Lets get some food im hungry" I teleported in to the girls toilets by the canteen and walked out. I walked in to the canteen and it was empty. Confused i checked the time. It was 12:38 it was lunch time. Trent was next to me.

"What happened?" I asked confused once again.

"Mikka sent everyone home he said it was for the best the only people here are not human" He replied. "Come on ill go make us some food" We walked in to the kitchen and searched the cupboards. We decided to make sandwiches for everyone. We put loads of sanwiches out for everyone we didn't know how many people stayed here but we made enough for about 50 people. I mindlinked my brothers and told them to get everyone to come here. Within 10 minutes the canteen was full of people. We sat and ate and chatted a bit until Uncle Mikka walked in.

He hushed everyone and started to speak. "So we have got the humans to go home and sent to another school i own about an hour away from here. We need to be more careful we need to train as much as we can. This is war. This is a war we shall win though. If your not up to that then leave my school now. My family are at risk as so long as im alive i will do everything in my power to protect them. You are all more than welcome to stay here at the school and come as go as you please just sign in and out so i know whos in and whos out. Thank you." He walked out of the hall. I stood up to follow him when i went light headed. Kraze was the one to catch me this time.

"You ok?"He asked. "And what happened to your hair?"

"Yeah just keep feeling light headed and i have no idea its never been curly in my life, im going to lie down for a while kay?" i stood up and teleported to my room. I sat on the bed when i felt the push of something in my mind. I opened it knowing who it was.

"Hey mom"

"Hello sweetie, I hear your hairs changing?"

"Yeah, its curly with a white streak going through it"

"Ah my darling that will be your powers coming through, don't worry you wont be able to access most of it until the day of the war"

"About this war mom, its funny you know? Fighting a war against something i never knew about up until a few months ago and something i feel so strongly to protect and to save you. Its crazy"

"I know but you know you might not be able to save me. Other people will die as well. I need you to be strong i know you can do this"

"I will save you and try my best to save everyone else"

"I know, i have to go ill speak with you soon love you"

"Love you too" I closed the connection and lay down. I heard a knock at my door and sat up.

"Yeah?" I asked. Draven walked in followed by Amelia. I smiled as they were holding hands.

"Hey we just wanted to come in and say thanks. We found eachother. We're soulmates. So thank you" Draven said. I smiled and nodded. Amelia came and sat next to me. She hugged me.

"Thank you Kira" She stood up and stood next to Draven.

"Your both welcome, now get out of here love birds and have fun" They laughed and left with a small wave and goodbye. As they left my window opened and closed by time i looked. Storm was already sitting on my bed.

"Storm, you scared me, whats up" I asked.

"Im scared. Kira, Im scared. Im in love with him and i want him so badly but i dont know if he feels the same" She ushered out.

"Wow. Is this love season or something?" I asked myself more than anyone else." Who is it storm?"

"Its Dante" I sat there shocked. "Ok then urm, you need to tell him. Take control of the situation"

"I can't ive never felt this way before"

"He might feel the same and if you dont tell him today. I will tell him myself"

"I cant. I can. I can do this. Im going i'll be back" She stood up and jumped out my window.

"Not soon i hope" I lay down again hoping to have a little nap when my door opened. I sat up again.

"What do you want now?. Oh hey Trent whats up?"

"Urm, nevermind your not in a good mood" He went to walk out.

"No im sorry please stay. Its just everyones asking me about advice on relationships. I swear its love season. Come and lie with me?" I asked.

"Okay then sure. As long as your brothers dont attack me again" He walked over and lay next to me. I lay back down and moved closer to Trent. We ended up in the spooning position. I then let sleep take me.
