Chapter 28

When we teleported we landed next to the stone stage. There were thousands of people waiting in front of the stage. We saw more people emerging from the woods surrounding it. 

"What time is it?" I asked Trent.

"Quarter to five" He replied. I saw my mother, Uncle mikka and Pamla approaching us.

"Ok are you guys ready? You have to go on the stage now" Pamla said. Me and Trent looked at eachother and nodded. First to go on stage was Pamla, then my mothe, then Uncle Mikka then me and Trent followed behind climbing the stone stairs one by one. My heart beats quickened and i started to panic. What if i did something wrong whilst on stage. Oh my god. Shit. I never thought this through. As we got on the stage Trent held my hand give it an encouraging squeeze. I think he felt my panic. My mother, Uncle Mikka and Pamla stood to the side of the stage. Trent led me to the middle and we stood there waiting. I looked over the crowd and saw my brothers and friends in suites and dresses. Smiling. I feel so proud. Proud of who I am. Proud of what i've done and proud of what im about to do. Smiling at myself I felt a lot happier. I looked up at Trent and he was just smiling at me with admiration in his eyes. We stood there for a few moments when a gust of smoke came on stage out of the smoke came three people. The woman on the left was a slender looking woman she looked no older than thirty. She had long blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. The man on the right was about the same age with Jet black hair and blue eyes. Hmm that reminded me of someone. Nevermind. The middle was an older more wiser looking man. He had brown hair with streaks of grey through it. He had blue eyes too. That must be marcus. The other man kept glancing at me giving me confusing looks. I ignored it and turned back to Marcus.

"Today my friends, we are gathered to pronounce the new King and Queen. I am pleased to be here doing this knowing these two wonderful people will lead this world to peace and harmony. First of all the witnesses. Do you Mikka Raze, Karadina Tevan and Pamla Strive swear solomely to be witnesses of this crowning and never deny it" They put there hands on there hearts and said "We do". Looking at my mother she looked sad."Do you Daniel and Kayla also swear to be witnesses to this crowning and never deny it" He said looking at the two people standing beside him. They did the same. " Ok. Trent Ashton do you take this crown and swear to honour your world, protecting it and putting it before anything else and to protect the people with the power within you?" Trent replied with "I do" and kneeled before Marcus. He placed the crown in his hand on Trents head. As he did this the sky changed to a sunset colour. "Do you Kira Tevan  take this crown and swear to honour your world, protecting it and putting it before anything else and to protect the people with the power within you?" I said " I do" Then kneeled before him. He placed the crown on my head. I heard a clash of thunder."Then with the power invested in me I now pronounce the new King  and Queen of the other world" Me and Trent stood up as we did people started bowing to us. A surge of new power shot threw my body making me feel tingley. Then all of a sudden everything went black. Then the stage was lit up by fire. "Let the celebrations begin" Marcus shouted then everything went back to normal. Everyone was clapping.

"So my Queen how do you feel?" Trent whispered in my ear as he held me from behind.

"Absolutley amazing my King what about you?" I smiled.

"Same here" He held my hand and led me off stage I brushed past Daniel and felt a spark at my heart I looked at him and he looked away. Me and Trent walked down the stone stairs to be welcomed by my brothers and friends. They all hugged me and Trent saying how happy they was and everything. I looked back on stage to see everyone talking but I couldn't see my mother or Daniel. I looked around and saw them both sneaking away in to the woods.

"Hey Trent im going to my mom for a bit, i'll be back soon" I said.

"Don't be too long the party's going to start soon" He kissed me on the forehead then I slipped away. Silently I followed my mother and Daniel for about ten minutes. They stopped and I jumped in to a tree.
