Chapter 6

RAIN POV

We went downstairs and ma had everything set up she just needed us to pick a movie. Karmen was in the kitchen making popcorn so blue and I chose a seat. Blue wanted to sit all the way at the top where it's really dark.

Rain:"blue you sure you don't want to be down here with us?"

Blue:"I'm good midget."

She's started calling me midget I guess that's my new nickname it beats Ray I hate that name I feel like I should be blind and playing the piano.

Bey:"since its blues first time down here she gets to pick the movie."

Blue:"ummmmm do you have white chicks?"

Bey:"of course that's a classic movie."

My mom went and put the movie in and Karmen came down with the popcorn and we sat and watched the movie. Right at the part where Marcus kept falling asleep on his girlfriend talking blue got a phone call.

BLUE POV

I was sitting in the back watching my so called mother and sister and cousin watch the movie I wasn't in the mood to watch it I just didn't want to be upstairs alone and my mom hung up on me.I know bey is famous and all but is it really necessary to have an in home theater like come on now you can't just got to a local one and have it shut down.I was in the back trying to isolate myself from them because all I wanted to do was go home back with my other mom my actual mom the one that has been there for me the whole time, when my phone rang.I looked down and it was an unknown number I wanted to ignore it but I also wanted to answer and see who it was.In hopes that it would be my dad calling but then again he might be out with mom.

Blue:"bey."

I whispered trying not to interrupt their movie wait who am I kidding I don't like these people I only like rain cause she didn't have any thing to do with me being left at Tina's.

Blue:"BEY IM GOING TO GO TAKE THIS CALL!"

I hollered down to her just to annoy them.I got up and walked back into the hallway as I looked at all their family pictures and pictures of rain on the wall but what really surprised me was there were pictures of me on these walls the same ones my mom has in the living room and on her nightstand, the same ones I remember getting dressed up and smiling like an idiot for.Then my phone rang again taking me out of my thoughts and the upcoming flashback.

Blue:"hello?"

Jay:"hello!"

Blue:"ummm calm down one you way entirely to happy to be talking to a stranger now who is this?"

Jay:"it's your father......Shawn aka Jay-z."

Blue:"ughhh how did you get my number I didn't want to talk to any more people today?"

Jay:"I'm sorry I went off on your mo..(gco)."

Blue:"don't even say my mother she isn't my mother never has been never will be she is just the women that gave birth to me."

Jay:"ok sorry if I offended you well I kinda went off on her this morning because you wouldn't talk to me so I thought she didn't tell you I wanted to speak with you so she gave me your number so I could do it myself."

Blue:"ok well I'm sorry you wasted your time calling me but I don't want to speak to your right now thank you and goodbye."

I hung my phone up how dare she give my number out like that I don't want him calling my phone I don't know him and I don't know her.I turned around and she was leaning on the hallway wall.
