Chapter 14

I walked into the living as I stepped out of my shoes and when I looked up the girls were now facing me as they leaned over the couch.

Blue:"so how did it go sweet lips?"

The girls busted out laughing and I smiled and shook my head.

Bey:"stay out of grown folk business."

Blue:"well this kinda does pertain to us so like I said how did it go?"

Rain:"blue you trying to get us killed?"

Bey:"no it's fine I'm in a good mood so I'll let it slide and it went well for your info."

I started walking towards my room carting my clutch and some clothes in hand and began walking to my room as the girls followed asking too many questions.I reached my bedroom door and turned around.

Bey:"thanks for keeping me entertained in my journey upstairs but this is where it stops goodniggghhhtt!"

I opened my bedroom door shut it and locked it.I walked over to my nightstand and plugged my phone in the charger and then took a shower.

Bey:"what the hell I thought I locked the door."

Blue:"o you did but you see I'm a master a picking locks so now we can talk all night long."

Bey:"you right you and rain can talk all night long in yalls room now get out."

Rain:"you don't love us no more mommy?"

Bey:"rain stop playing with me."

Blue:"ok let's get down to business I wanna know everything from the time you left until now."

Suddenly my phone blared and I knew from the ringtone it was Jay and I started to smile instantly.

"Yep you the baby daddy,I want all yo money,I want child support,nigga you fucked up!"

Bey:"heyy!"

I looked at the girls and they looked at each other and laid down on my bed with their feet in the air behind them and their hands on their chins.

Bey:"o nothing just laying in my room."

I pointed for the girls to get out and instead they started laughing.

Bey:"who is who?,o that's nobody but the girls being nosy as hell girls please get out."

At this point I was practically begging them to get out and leave me alone.They finally got up and I followed them to the door.

Bey:"thank you now have a goodnight and see you in the morning love you."

Rain:"same to you mommy."

Blue:"same to you."

They both gave me a major side eye and then I shut the door.I walked back to my bed and continued my convo with Jay.

Jay:"are they gone?"

Bey:"yea they out!"

Jay:"well I hope you enjoyed tonight."

Bey:"I did I had a really good time kinda reminded me of the old days ya know."

Jay:"yea I know I was feeling the same way I'm glad you gave me another chance."

Bey:"as much as I hate to say it I'm glad I did too just don't fuck with my feelings this time cause you will get deleted from my life permanently."

Jay:"ok got it."

Bey:"hold on."

I got up and opens my door and if I didn't see thing 1 and thing 2 leaning up against the door.

Bey:"damn can I please have some privacy please this is my house and o shouldn't have to ask for some space in it.I pay these bills not y'all so y'all need to hop y'all nosy asses up off my damn floor go to your rooms and get in the bed you don't have to go to sleep but I need you in your rooms now!"

They got up looking sorry and started to walk away.

Rain:"I'm sorry mommy."

Blue:"me too."

Bey:"it's fine but y'all need to know the difference of when I'm playing and when I'm being serious and tonight y'all took it too far."

Blue:"ok."

They walked to their rooms and I went back in mine.

Jay:"damn bey you didn't have to go in on them like that thus just wanted to know about our date."

Bey:"no this is an on going thing they meddle In all my business from rain and her cousins and friends meddling while I'm sleep, to them meddling in my love life to now them eavesdropping on my conversation it has to stop at some point and tonight was that point."

Jay:"aww is the baby momma mad?"

I tried so hard to stay mad but that damn baby voice of his cracks me up.

Bey:"shut up."

Jay:"you want me to come back over?"

Bey:"mhmm."

Jay:"ok I'll be there in 20 minutes."
