Ross' POV
My eyes cracked open and the outer space scene filtered through my vision. A sigh escaped from my mouth and the body next to mine shifted. I looked down at Cat and saw the bruise under her eye had turned yellow; It was getting better. I brushed the underside of her eye and it fluttered open. "Morning." She smiled and leaned up to kiss me. I touched my lips gently to hers and frowned.
"What's wrong?" She asked hurt. "Do I have bad breath or...?" She trailed off.
"Who did this to you?" A look of recognition flittered into her eyes and she looked away from me, ashamed. "Please." I said with a strained voice. "Please tell me." She shook her head on got out from under the covers. "Cat, I-"
"JUST DROP IT ROSS." She seemed to scream from between her teeth. I was taken aback by her tone and she left the room, slamming the door behind her.
I touched my lips and remembered the kiss we had shared moments ago. I shook my head in frustration. None of this shit would've happened if I hadn't have left her.

Cat's POV
"Trouble in Paradise dear?" Aunt Elaine asked as she whipped up some eggs, pancakes, bacon, and French toast. She always claimed that I needed variety. She was usually right. "How'd you know." I drawled in a made up southern accent, mocking her. I drew circles on the bar counter as she spoke. "I heard you yelling at him." She turned towards me with her hands on her hips and give me 'The Look.'
"Yeah." I sighed. I regretted yelling at Ross. He was just trying to protect me, I get that. I'm just so, so ashamed.
"I see that look in your eyes, girl." My head snapped up as Aunt Elaine got my attention. "You want to go apologize now, don't you? Well, go on. Breakfast will be ready in 10 minutes." She nodded to the stairwell without tuning to acknowledge me.
I slumped out of my chair and made a quick dash up the three flights of stairs. Forgetting to knock, I slipped into the room and closed the door behind me. I turned around to see Ross undressing, taking of the shirt he wore to bed. His back and arm muscles flexed and I snuck up behind him.
I wrapped my arms around his torso and pressed my face into his bare upper back. He relaxed and turned around to face me. "Baby, I-" I shushed him by leaning up on my tip toes to kiss him.
"I'm sorry." I said and he smiled lazily. "F-for yelling at you. I was just... I don't know... Ashamed." He lifted a finger up to my lips. "Don't be."
He leans in close to me so that his breathe lingers on my face. "I'm so pissed at myself." He whispers. I wrap my arms around his neck and gave him a questioning look. "I was taught not to feel this way for you. For anyone." His mouth moves softly against my forehead as he speaks. He moves backwards until he's sitting on the bed, embracing me, with me standing in front of him.
"Do you want to feel this way?" I say, running my fingers through his hair as he presses his face against my flat stomach. "I want to feel a lot of things." He says huskily and let's one of his free hands grip my waist. He lifts me up so that I'm sitting down on his lap, straddling him. My heart beat is a rapid staccato; out of control. He traces this tip of his nose up my collarbone and kisses my neck softly.
The sensation drives me insane. He looks at me quickly before his lips go for my neck again. I don't get a chance to speak because he nips at my neck with his teeth, and I suddenly forget how to speak. I tangle my hands in his hair, tugging lightly and his mouth falls open, he lets his tongue run across my neck.
