Cat's POV (6 Months Later)

"Caterina?" Drakes voice interrupted my book. "What?" I said.

"It gets better. I promise." I shot him a look and he shrugged. "Just thought I'd say." I gave him a weak half smile.

"What's the latest scandal?" I asked Drake. He pulled up TMZ on his phone. One of the lesser stories was the one we were looking for.

Ross and Amanda.

They were the newest Hollywood teen couple.

I sighed heavily and went back to reading.

"My suicide." The voice in my head read. "Suicide is a form of murder-

Premeditated murder."

"Cat." Drake interrupted again. "WHAT. I AM TRYING TO READ GIRL, INTERRUPTED." I shouted and he stepped back.

"Sorry for trying to help, Cat. I won't do it again." He said and left my room, I shook my head and threw my dumb book at the wall. Everything had gone to hell since Ross left.

(Flashback)

Ross has been convicted not guilty. Whoever made the murder statement had been fined, and everything was back to normal. Almost.

"Hey." I said as I opened the door for Ross. "Come on in." I motioned for him to step inside. I didn't get a hug, a kiss, anything. "Isn't this great?" I asked Ross with a huge smile which he didn't return. "We can finally be ourselves again! We can...." I slowly trailed off. "Ross.. What's wrong?"

"We need to talk." My heart dropped into my stomach and my face must've shown it. "O-okay..." I said with a shaky voice.

"Things... Things have been crazy lately... I just..." He trailed off.

"Things are going to get better!" I quickly assured him. "Everything gets better I promise! We're home now, we-"

"I can't keep living in this crazy ride. I-I'm sorry Cat. I have no excuse. I'm so sorry."

"Stop. Don't do this." I pleaded and Ross slowly turned his head away from me and but his lip.

I shook my head and let the tears spring into my eyes. "You're breaking up with me?"

"Cat, I'm sorry-" He move in to hug me.

"Get out." I told him and he stopped, shocked.

"Cat, I-."

"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" I screamed and pointed at the door. I probably looked more insane than I already was. I was breathing heavily and the tears were flowing freely down my face.

Ross looked at me, shocked. "Okay." He said, but made no move to leave. "Okay." I replied weakly. Out of my side vision, I saw Ross look at me sadly, almost as if he wanted to take it back. One last time, he opened his mouth to say something, but closed it quickly. He walked to the door, pulled it open, and left. He walked out of my house.

He walked out of my life.
