Kyoya fell back on his bed, letting out a long sigh. The phone kept ringing and he wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. Normally, he'd pick it up no matter what or who it was. But today, the one calling was Tamaki. And Kyoya wasn't ready to deal with that yet.
He hadn't talked to the blonde since they had all done karaoke. He knew he'd have to eventually, or else his father would find out from Tamaki's father, and that wouldn't end good for him. But he still felt weird about that day, and wanted more time to think about it.
But with the phone constantly ringing, he wasn't going to get much thinking in. So, he figured instead of wasting his time, he'd just shorten his break from the blonde and finally answer.
"Hello?" Kyoya answered. He heard Tamaki gasp. "Kyoya! Mon'Ami! Hello!" He exclaimed. Kyoya held the phone away from his ear, the boy so loud it hurt his ear. "Yes, hello..." He mumbled.
"How are you? Are you hurt? Sick? I've been trying to call you for a few days now. Did your phone break?" He rambled, but Kyoya quickly silenced him. "I just was a bit busy, and didn't have time to answer." He lied.
"Ah, I understand. Well now that you aren't busy, how about we do something together?" Tamaki suggested. Kyoya wanted to immediately decline, but something stopped him from doing so. "Alright. What did you have in mind?" He asked.
'What are you doing Kyoya? Come on, I thought you weren't going to talk him. Now you're making plans with him?' Kyoya thought to himself. "Well, since it's really nice out, I thought you could come to my place, and we could go swimming!" Tamaki beamed proudly, which Kyoya could almost see through the phone.
"Sure, what time would you like me to come over?" He asked. 'Why are you being so casual about this? Swimming isn't going to benefit you at all. You have better things to do! Tell him you're busy.' Kyoya told himself.
"Now! Or, whenever you're ready." Tamaki chuckled a bit. Kyoya smiled. "Ok, I'll be over in a bit." He ended the call.
There were a few seconds of silence, then Kyoya groaned. "What have I done? No, what has he done? Why am I like this?" He thought aloud.
He lazily got up, grabbing some swim trunks. Before stepping out of the room, he realized he wasn't dressed, since he'd been his room since he woke up that morning. He quickly got dressed and made his way outside, informing his limo driver that he'd be going to the second Suoh mansion.
Once he had arrived, he was greeted by the excited blonde on the front steps of the mansion. "Kyoya!" He yelled, running up to him as he got out of the limo. "Hello Tamaki." Kyoya greeted.
Tamaki wrapped Kyoya in a hug. Kyoya stood completely still, waiting for the blonde to let go of him. "I'm so glad you're here! I missed you!" Tamaki exclaimed. 'It was only a few days...' Kyoya thought to himself. Tamaki quickly grabbed his hand and led him to the back of the mansion where the large, rectangular, in-ground pool was.
"Here it is!" Tamaki announced proudly. "I honestly never thought you'd agree to this, but I'm really glad you did. It's a great day for swimming!" He dipped his toe in the water, then walked back over to Kyoya. "Let's go get our swim suits on!" He said.
Kyoya simply nodded. He hadn't swam in forever, and wasn't a huge fan of it to begin with. Tamaki grabbed his hand again and led him to his bedroom. Kyoya went in the bathroom to change into his dark purple swim trunks, then came out when he was done. Tamaki stood in his swim trunks. They were just red, but Kyoya thought the color looked good on him.
'What am I saying? Snap out of it Kyoya..." He thought.
Tamaki grabbed his hand-for the third time now-and led him back to the pool. "You know I can walk on my own, you don't need to hold my hand." Kyoya mumbled. Tamaki ignored his comment. He walked to the deeper end of the pool, which was only about 5 feet. Kyoya followed him.
