The next day I didn’t wake up till 12 and then Jess took me for a tour round Gloucester. “Let’s go shopping!” Jess grinned, “I like your thinking!” I winked and we headed into new look. “grab loads of outfits Jess and meet me in the changing rooms” I winked and left to find some clothes. We met back at the changing rooms 20 minutes later with arms full of clothes where we took two changing rooms and tried them all on, doing a catwalk parade for each other and taking loads of pictures before buying a few things and heading to the next shop.

We did this is another three shops until our arms were full and we were about to head home when Jess stopped me at a baby shop. “Let’s go in here!” She cheered. “isn’t it a bit early for that?” I asked, “it’s never too early” she said and dragged me inside. We walked up and down the isles looking at all the different clothes and prams and cots and toys and everything else you could think of. We ended up buying a couple of baby grows and we found the most adorable bedroom setup. It was a white cot, white dresser, white wardrobe and white change table with pale green coloured accessories with monkeys on which we thought would be amazing for a boy and then the exact same one but with pink teddy bear accessories instead. I took pictures of them both before we headed back home.

“Someone’s been busy” Nath said kissing me quickly when I walked in. “We may have bought a few things” I winked.  “And Jess persuaded me to go into a baby shop where I found these” I said bringing out the two baby grows. Nath rolled his eyes, “Now who’s eager” He winked. “I also found these!” I said showing him the pictures of the bedroom setups. “Aww!” He cooed, “I know right” I said. “But how will we know which one we will need if we don’t know what we’re having?” he asked, “well I would quite like to find out before it’s born rather than wait” I said, “alright then” he smiled. We shared a quick kiss before me and Jess took all our new things upstairs. “Thank you for taking me out today Jess!”  I smiled, “no problem, thank you for the new outfits!” She said, “anytime Sis” I winked and she hugged me.

Once I had finished putting away al of my new clothes Karen had served dinner, Spaghetti Bolognaise, much to Nathan’s delight. So I headed down to eat before we all settled down watching the new Ice Age film which they play a part in with Chasing The Sun.

My morning sickness has died down a bit so it’s not all day anymore and is usually just first thing in the morning now and Jess and Karen have been really helpful and supportive as well as Nath which I was thankful for.

The weekend flew by and before I knew it we were packing up the car to head home. “Bye bye both of you! Don’t be strangers!” Karen said as she hugged me and then Nathan. “Bye sis!” I said to Jess hugging her. “Come back soon!” She said, “Of course! We’ll need to go baby shopping, Auntie Jess” I winked before hugging her once more and moving so Nath could say goodbye. We finished saying goodbye and headed back home. “I hate saying goodbye to them” Nath sighed, “You’ll see them again soon” I said, putting my hand on his leg. “I know” he half smiled. “Can we get some more mints please? I’ve run out” I pouted. “Really? I only just bought you some more!” He joked, “well get used to it, it’s going to last another eight and a half months” I winked and Nath laughed. We pulled into the nearest shop and Nath ran in and bought another three bags. “Better now?” he asked, “yep” I grinned, plopping one into my mouth.

I fell asleep pretty quickly again and didn’t wake up till I felt myself being lifted out of the car by a familiar pair of arms. “Morning sleepy” Tom laughed, “You could have just woken me up” I laughed, “well you seemed tired so I didn’t want to disturb you but since your awake” he winked before dropping me so I landed on the floor on my feet. “Bloody Parker” I grumbled and he laughed. “Now you’re awake, fancy helping me with the bags babe?” Nath asked. I went round and got my bags which have doubled since my shopping spree with Jess.
