“NO!” I sat up in bed covered in sweat and shaking like a leaf, “babe whats wrong?!” Nath panicked, I didn’t answer I just broke down into tears. “Beth?!” Kat and Logan came running into the room in a panic, “What’s wrong with her? is she okay?” Kat asked, “I don’t know, she started talking in her sleep and then she started shaking and sweating so I tried waking her up and she screamed no before bursting into tears” Nath told her. “Beth is it what I think it is?” Kat asked, I nodded.

“everywhere I go he’s there Nath. I can’t keep living my life in fear of him. I just can’t” I sniffled as I explained everything to Nath. “Why didn’t you tell me about this before?” he asked me, “I thought it was just a random nightmare, I didn’t think anything of it. But I’ve been getting them weekly now and its the same dream every time.” I said. He put his head in his hands and tugged at his hair. “Nath?” I asked and put my hand on his back, “I hate seeing what he’s doing to you. I can’t just sit back and watch him do this to you!” tears began to fall from his eyes, “Nath please don’t do anything stupid” I said, “I'm going for a walk” he said kissing my head and grabbing his shoes and a hoody before walking out of the flat. I just burst into tears again and this time Logan held me in his arms and comforted me as Kat was asleep on the sofa. “babe its okay” he soothed and gently rocked me as I fell asleep in his arms.

I woke up to the sound of the door opening and someone walking in, “Nath?” I asked, “babe I'm here” he said and walked over. I was still laying in Logan’s lap and he was asleep so I gently climbed out of his grasp and pulled a blanket over him. “I'm so sorry. But you don’t know how much you mean to me. I can’t stand to see you like this” he said and reached his hand out to stroke my face, “Nath what happened to your hand?!” I whisper-shouted at him, seeing his bloody and swollen knuckles. “I got angry don’t worry about it” he said, “no way! We’re going to the hospital to get this fixed!” I said and got up to put some shoes on and one of Nath’s hoodies. I wrote a note to Kat and Logan and stuck it to Logan’s head before heading out. I called Tom and got him to take us to the hospital.

“Well Mr Sykes, you seem to have fractured two of your knuckles so I’ll have to wrap them up and you’ll have to re-bandage them when necessary. And come back and see me in 3 weeks” the doctor said as he bandaged up Nath’s hand. I explained everything to Tom on the way and he decided it would be best if I moved in with them for the time being so after the hospital we went back to the flat to get our stuff.

By the time we got back Kat and Logan had woken up and were standing in the kitchen looking like zombies drinking tea. Kat came running over and jumped into my arms, “I'm sorry about last night guys” I said, “it’s fine. I'm glad you’re okay now. How’s your hand mate?” Logan asked, “painful but it’ll be fine” he said, “I'm going to go and stay with the boys for a while. I think it will be best. Are you guys okay staying here?” I asked, “of course” Kat said. “Thank you. I'm going to go and get my things ready” I sighed as I went into my room to pack some bags.

Tom and Nath helped me carry out my bags to the car and we left for their house. Tom must have told them what happened because as soon as I walked in they all pounced on me in a massive hug. “we’re always here for you darling” Siva smiled, “yeah, you’ve got all of us and the girls too.” Jay added. “thank you guys” I half smiled, “I'm gunna go upstairs for a bit” I said and made my way upstairs to Nath’s room where they had left my bags. I changed into some different clothes and climbed into Nath’s bed and drifted into sleep.

“NO!” I shot up covered in sweat and shaking again. “baby I'm here” Nathan soothed and wrapped his arms around me. I sobbed into his chest as he rocked me until I calmed down. “Nath what am I going to do? As soon as I fall asleep the dreams come back” I sniffled, “I’ll take you to the doctors today and see if there’s anything they can do. Besides I can get them to re-bandage my hand, I spilt tea all over the bandages.” He chuckled at the last bit and a small smile played at my lips. He helped me out of bed and took my hand as we walked downstairs where the others were watching Jeremy Kyle. Normally I would be over the moon excited about this but I was too tired and too stressed to care really and I think Tom noticed because he got up and walked out of the room, taking Nath with him.
