Ugh, people. Man they can really hurt you. Their words do sting. These girls at school they get really mean to me. Maybe it's because they're jealous, maybe they're hurting... Who knows? But as the saying goes, kill 'em with kindness. You can't let their words get to you.
My step- dad's ex wife (the mother of all my sisters) likes to cuss at me on the "down low" just as I walk by. So I just look back and go "JESUS LOVES YOU!" That's what ya gotta do. Pray for them, be nice to them despite their words.
People can be jerks but God calls us to take the higher road. They are sons and daughters just as you are.
