Nicholas POV

Lilac's funeral was today. Three days it's been since I watched her body fall to it's death.

The sad thing is, we never found the body. A gorgeous black coffin was picked our for her. She deserved it.

Since Lilac wasn't that... popular, random kids said something nice about her.

I was shocked when Ian spoke, willingly.

His eyes were puffy and red. Tear tracks streaked his face and his hair was messy from Ian pulling at it to much.

"I am so screwed up. I left my best friend for a reason she didn't even know. I left her for popularity. I left Lilac alone. I still remember when we were younger, builing sand castles and playing at the beach. She was always the creative one with her writing and photography. But that was when I knew her. Now, I couldn't tell you a damn thing about her. I don't know if she still liked her Chai Tea Lattes iced, even in the Winter. I don't know if she still hates flowers, because they remind her of her grandma's funeral. I have know clue if her favorite color is green because she always thought she was a Slytherin. The point I'm trying to make is, if you truly care about someone then stay with them. Do not leave them ."

I gave a short applause. After a couple more of those, the funeral ended.

I looked at Lilac's parents, who weren't even crying. That's when I realized that Lilac had a horrible home life. For fucks sake, her parents weren't even crying at her funeral!

I wondered if she was abused or if the verbally asulted her. Just as we did.

No. Just as I did. I lead the gang to hurt Lilac in these ways. I laughed when she cried. I was the cause of her death. I told her to go kill herself.

Right now, I felt absolutely awful.

I got up and left this terrible event.

As I left, I paid no attention to my surroundings. I didn't see the girl with the dead eyes sitting as far away as she possibly could with her multiple body casts and pastel colored hair.

*1 year later*

Nicholas POV

"No, no! You idiot!" I screamed at one of the people who worked for my parents. "YOUR FIRED!"

His eyes widened but he nodded and left the room, leaving me with my anger.

I was insanely stressed with the upcoming business deal with one of my parents business partners. This could get us billions if it went our way.

I changed, getting ready for a jog. I really needed to get out for a bit.

"I'm going out." I told my secretary. She looked at my clothes and nodded.

I went out the back exit, away from all the people. I jogged for about ten minutes before I saw it. A mess of pastel colored hair. I sped up and followed her, the girl with the hair. It had to be Lilac, only she would have hair like that. As I passed her, I saw the face. It was very different from Lilac's. I sighed, my hoped crushed and made my way back to the building, not knowing that the girl I was hoping she would be was hiding behind a potted plant because she saw me.

Hey guys! Told you that wouldn't be the end!! Ok, so that ending might be confusing so it pretty much is that Lilac hid when she saw Nicholas. In the past year, Nicholas became a heir of his parents business but still tries to find Lilac. I'll explain what happens to the other characters but I DO NOT plan on ending this story anytime soon. If you have ideas or questions or anything please comment. I will respond. Comment/vote!!!
