"Maybe not but you love me do you not?""I do not love you."
"But the ring that lies at the end of that necklace tells me you never stopped loving me.."
I hated to admit it but he was right.
As soon as the bell went for my second period, I practically bolted out the room. I couldn't stay in there with him.
I did not like him. I did not like him. I did not like Lucas!
Liar. You didn't like him. You loved him.
I groaned in frustration and put my palm on my forehead, growling almost. I mean Christ. He was gorgeous. The tattoos and the jawline. What was not to like? Except for his dick like personality. God, I hated him. I hated him.
Stop kidding yourself Violet. You have never stopped loving that boy.
Great, I thought, my own jiminy cricket. A deep sigh and a yawn later Morgana and Jacob walked through the classroom door. This was English.
I'll admit. English was my best lesson, The teacher I had was just the boss. I had always enjoyed this subject, wanting to get the better grade and doing everything I could to get the best grade. Best thing now was that, if I remembered correctly...Lucas was terrible at English.
"Alright, welcome back from the holidays. To those of you, that are new. I am Miss McCourtess and your new English teacher. Contain your excitement. Please. Now, I have made a seating plan so can everyone stand up and make a line outside."
I rolled my eyes and grabbed my bag, the effort it took to stand up to walk to the door was immense. I yawned again and my feet led me outside to the line forming in the corridor.
Then I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. "Morgana, what are you doing? You know...I'm straight. Sorry sweetheart." But then I heard her laugh and it wasn't from behind me. Confused much?
"Hello, Kitten." That very deep voice made me shiver, oh good lord gives me strength. I slowly twisted my head and met his chest. I looked to the side making a rather loud sigh before looking up. Those adorable eyes. His eyebrow arched up making me snap out of my little fangirl session.
"Lucas. Get. Off." I snarled at him as my hands pushed on his that were currently locked around my waist. Then I felt his chin on my head. "Lucas! Don't make me tell you twice!" I whined in frustration as we reached the front. Miss McCourtess looked at Lucas, then her brown globes met mine. I looked at her with a pleading look. She pointed her pen, frowning at him.
"Violet. At the back in the corner. New boy, Lucas? Well for starters. You can let go of Miss Grimm and then you can sit...let me look. Lucas Lucas Lucas..." Her voice drifted off as I pushed off from Lucas, walking into the classroom and sitting down on my chair. The corner, perfect. I dropped my head down and run my fingers through my black hair.
A body dropped next to me. Great a partner. I brought my head up and the Devil himself was sat there smirking at me. Son of a bitch.
"You just can't get enough of me. Can you now?" His gorgeous bloody face turned to a smirk as I rolled my eyes at his stupid behaviour.
