Jade,

"But mom, I'm 17!" I yelled.

This was going to be a long ass argument, and I knew it...

"Jade, I don't give a fuck about that! The fact that your boyfriend has his own apartment is a problem." She answered with a bitchy attitude.

I rolled my eyes in annoyance. My parents just didn't know when to get the fuck off my damn case at times! "What's wrong with Quincy having an apartment? And what does this have to do with me and my fucking age?!"

My mom took no time to lay her heavy hand on my face. There was no taking back the words that I previously spoke.

"Watch your fucking mouth! You don't disrespect me like that. God, when did you become so...rebellious?"

"Oh my god! What is the issue with him having an apartment?!"

"How do I know you're not sneaking off to pay him a couple of visits? Huh? You could be doing anything over there behind me and your dad's back."

"I'm telling you. If I catch you with this boy, I'm killing the both of you with no remorse!" My dad chimed in.

I cannot believe this shit.

"So the reason why we're all here is because you guys think I'm sneaking behind your backs to go to Quincy's apartment? So now you don't trust me? I admit, I've been over there a couple of times, but nothing happens! I'm ready to be a graduating student in a couple of weeks, and I don't need this stress." I stormed out the kitchen and went into my room.

"Don't you fucking walk away from us while we're talking to you!" My dad grunted.

"Jade! Get your ass back here now, I'm not done with you!" my mom said after.

I slammed my bedroom door. There were tears in my eyes waiting to come down, but I quickly wiped them off of my eyes. My mom and dad were still yelling at me from downstairs saying the same old shit. I couldn't deal with their angry voices any longer.

My parents just doesn't want me in a relationship period! It's like they want my love life to fail. They do not like him, but there isn't a reason not to! Quincy is an angel, and he doesn't really do anything. That's literally a parent's dream son-in-law!

The fact that I'm dating him and they're still not willing to handle the fact that I'm growing up is probably why they practically despise him. Being stuck in this house and not being able to go anywhere is torture for me.

Pulling out my phone, I put the password in and went to the contacts only to click on my baby's name. He answered after the second ring.

"Hey baby." He greeted.

I cried so much that my speech was not understandable at all. My stuttering had gotten worse by the second. Holding in my tears didn't work very well, but I should've known it was gonna happen because I could never hold them back.

"Baby..." Quincy had a concerned tone in his voice.

"What's wrong? And why do I hear your parents yelling and screaming?" he asked.

"Can I stay with you?" I finally let out after I had gotten myself together a little.

He chuckled. "Parents getting on your nerves?"

"Yeah. You know, the usual."

"Alright. Just go and ask your parents, and I'll be over there to get you."
