"So, you're not going back to the house for a while?" Sabrina asked me, sitting on her bed on her side of the dorm.
I told her about me and Quincy making love and then turning right around and pretending everything's okay in front of the twins. Apparently, she saw no problem with it. But I did. Sabrina just doesn't see what I'm seeing.
"No. We both need each other's space. That's all. And when the time is right, we'll reconcile." I explained.
"But I don't understand!" She complained. "You two made love! There's no reason for you and Quincy to be away from each other!"
I gave her a confused look. "What do you mean?"
"What I mean is...what you two are doing is stupid in my opinion. I just thought that having meaningful, emotional intercoarse was you two's way of saying sorry to each other." Sabrina shrugged her shoulders.
"You may not get it now, but you'll get what I'm doing very soon. You just haven't got to that point in your relationship yet." That's all I said to her.
"Whatever, girl."
After she said that, there was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it." I insisted.
I opened the door to see Kim, Quincy's mom. Why is she here uninvited? Not to be rude or anything, just curious.
"Hi!" I greeted.
"Hey, baby." She said, hugging me.
"I forgot it was your birthday yesterday. Sorry I never called." I said, closing the door.
"Oh, it's okay."

"Quincy told me everything that happened." Kim went on. "I'm sorry. I taught that boy better than what he did to you, baby."
"You don't have to be sorry."
Kim placed her hand on top of mine on the table.
"Look Jade, this is not going to be easy for you. Especially if your parents don't even care about you anymore. No disrespect. But you and Quincy need each other's space. This situation is not healthy!" She said.
"What made it even worse was seeing him three days ago."
Kim sighed. "You had sex with him, didn't you?"
I bit my lip nervously and looked down. "Yes."
"You two really need the space! Why'd you even go see him anyway after he cheated?" She asked.
"Quincy called and said he wanted to talk. And...it lead to way more than talking. Then the next day, he made me pretend that everything was okay in front of the twins yesterday."
I took a sip of my Caramel Frappé. I honestly don't feel very comfortable talking about this situation with his mom. It's his mom!
"I'm sorry Kim, bu-" Kim interrupted me.
"You don't feel comfortable talking about this situation. I understand. I wouldn't be, neither." She said.
"I'm sorry." I apologized.
"It's okay. Just know you can always talk to me whenever you're ready."

As I entered the dorm room, of course, Sabrina wasn't here. Here I am, alone once again. Usually at times like this, I'll hit up Quincy and he'll keep me company. But we're at a bad spot right now, so I'll just go and get me some food. Shit, I need the exercise, anyway.
Since Chipotle on campus isn't that far, I walked. As I walked in, it was packed inside for some reason. Maybe it's because it's Friday. I'll just order what I always get.
The place was full of college kids that I've seen all around campus. And the line was kind of long! I honestly don't have time to wait. I'm hungry as shit!
People were laughing and socializing, while I wait for a long ass time. But I'll try my best to be patient.

I walked back to my dorm with my food and opened my door. Surprisingly, Sabrina was there. She was wrapping her hair.
"I'm surprised you're here!" I said, laughing.
"Shut up!" She said.
Then there was a knock on the door. Ugh! Not another uninvited person. I don't want to be a bitch, so I went and opened the door. And what do I see...
I see him very drunk out of his mind...
