Quincy P.O.V

After I dropped my brothers and sisters off, I got something to eat then made my way back home. I really hope they didn't hear me and Jade's conversation last night. Shit, I hope they didn't hear anything.

But on the bright side, I'm glad Jade told me everything. I needed to know. And most importantly, she needed to let it all out. The story changed our relationship a little. Jade hasn't really talked that much to me before I left.

I have to admit, I acted like a huge dick when she told me. I was only mad that she didn't tell me, and at the fact that she lied to me. But I wouldn't want to tell anyone, either. Maybe it wasn't the right time to let me know. Shit, last night wasn't the right time to do anything!

I wasn't ready to tell her about my dad situation, and she wasn't ready to tell me about her rape situation.

I pulled in the driveway and got out the car. Unlocking the door, I opened it and Jade came into sight. She was in one of my t shirts, cooking breakfast.

"Hey baby." I said.

"Hey..."

"Um, I kind of already bought breakfast."

She turned around, the turned back around quick. "Oh, it's okay."

I know why she did that. Jade really thought I wouldn't see her puffy eyes.

"Jade, why you crying?" I asked, putting the breakfast down and coming behind her.

"I'm not crying." She sniffed.

"Yes you are. Stop lying," I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her cheek. "It's okay if it's about yesterday."

Jade turned around. "I dreamed about the situation last night. It's like I literally relived the whole thing."

"That's why you were hardly talking this morning?"

She looked down. "Yeah."

"W-"

I was interrupted by the doorbell ringing.

"Get the door while I go put some pants on." Jade said.

We shared a laugh and she went on up the stairs. I went to the door and opened it. It was a man. A really fat one at that. No offense.

Anyway, I didn't recognize him. But I have to say, looking at him is like looking in a mirror. I see myself in him a little.

"May I help you, sir?" I asked.

He just stood there. He didn't say anything. This guy's eyes went wide. As if he was shocked at something.

"Sir?" I said, snapping him out of his zone.

"Oh," he finally responded. "Sorry. I just can't believe it's really you."

I gave him a confused look. "Sorry, do I know you?"

His face went down. I guess he got mad after I asked. I don't know why! It's not my fault.

"You don't remember me?" He looked down.

"You do look familiar. But I don't know you, though."

"Quincy......it's me, Albert. It's your daddy."

That's when I recognized him. I knew I saw a little bit of me. Why is he at my doorstep?

Fuck him. I'm going to start fucking with him just to get a laugh.

"I'm sorry, my dad's name is Sean. I don't know any "Alberts". You must have the wrong Quincy."

I started to close the door, but he stopped me.

"Come on! You don't recognize me? It's me! Your real daddy! Your mom gave me your address so I can finally see you after all of these years."

My blood started to boil. My own mom gave this fat fuck my address, knowing that I hate him!

"Look, get the fuck off my property before I call the cops. Now!"

Then I slammed the door.

"Why did you do that?" Jade asked.

I turned around. "Because he ain't shit."
