Jade P.O.V
I looked out of the car window as numerous trees passed by. My mind is very blank. The vibes right now is very chill. And I hope it stays that way all through the car ride. But Sabrina broke the refreshing silence by asking a question.
"Hey, you okay?" She asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I responded, still looking out of the window.
"Are you hungry? We're almost at Chipotle."
"Nah, I'm good."
Then she left me alone.
I looked down at my phone, and it's been blowing up since 12:00pm. Of course, it's Quincy. You know, the guy I thought was an angel. Turns out, he's the total opposite.
I honestly think that all of this is Gerard's fault. No offense to Sabrina, but damn! Quincy has never smoked, and then he just so happened to start last night. Maybe he was pushed into doing it?
I don't know, and now I really don't care.
"We're here." Sabrina said, pulling up at me and Quincy's house.
"So, can you explain to me why we're here?" She asked.
"I'm getting more clothes." I said, unbuckling my seatbelt.
"Why?"
"So I can avoid coming back here on the weekends. Instead I can just stay on campus. Remember, I have no where else to go!"
"Okay, whatever."
We got out the car and made our way in the house.
***
"Is that the last of it?" Sabrina asked.
"Yes. Now we have to hurry! Quincy might come and s-"
My sentence was interrupted by the sound of the front door opening and closing.
"Jade!" That was Quincy.
"Aye! Sabrina!"And that sounded like Gerard.
"Oh shit!" Me and Sabrina said in unison.
They both came up the stairs and instantly started looking for us. Since they realized we weren't in the rooms they already searched in, they came in the bedroom. I didn't know what to do. We all made eye contact with each other.
"I've been looking all over for you." Quincy broke the awkward silence.
"Well, you found me." I rolled my eyes.
Me and Sabrina was ready to walk away, but Quincy pulled me.
"Jade!"
"What?!" I turned around.
"Look, I'm sorry about what happened last night."
I rolled my eyes. "Bullshit!"
"I was high! I wasn't in any control of what was happening! Gerard told me everything I did. I'm sorry!"
"Fuck the both of you!" Sabrina said. "Jade, lets go!"
"Right behind you." I said.
I was ready to go down the stairs, but Quincy grabbed me again!
"Get off of me!" I yelled.
"Not until you hear me out and forgive me!"
He had a very type grip on my left arm. I couldn't get out of it. I tried my best, but it didn't work.
"You're hurting me!" I said, in pain.
Quincy gave in and let go of me. But since we were so close to the steps, I fell. My body was smashing on them as I screamed in pain. Eventually, everything went black...
***
I woke up. My body was aching. And fuzziness took over my head. I took in my surroundings and realized I was in the hospital. And for some odd reason, my stomach started to ache.
I groaned in pain. And then I saw Sabrina get up from the chair she was sitting in and come to my side.
"You're awake!" She said excited. I can tell she's been crying. Her eyes are pink.
She then stepped out in the hallway.
"Guys, she's awake." I heard her say.
Gerard and Quincy followed her in. Quincy is the last person I want to see right now.
"Hey." He said.
"Hi." I said, rolling my eyes.
Confusion took over his face expression. I don't know why. He should already know I hate him. Then the doctor came in with some documents in his hand.
"Ms. Lockheart, you're awake!" He said. "I'm Doctor Garcia."
We shook hands. "Nice to meet you." I said.
He was looking through the documents. "Well, you don't have any broken bones, nor anything severe."
I sighed in relief.
"But...there is something wrong." He continued.
I managed to sit up. "Well, what is it?"
He sighed...
